Joe and Jim Grimm are a reference to [[wikipedia:Brothers_Grimm|Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm]] who are popularly known for publishing a number of German folktales during the early 19th century (Hansel and Gretel, Cinderella, etc. to name a few). Brothers Grimm is a special encounter in Fallout Tactics.

Here, you'll find two super mutants named Jim and Joe Grimm. Joe stands over his injured brother, Jim, after he was injured by a landmine. If the player helps heal Jim, both mutants will later be available in the recruitment pool.

Notes

  • Jim and Joe's personas are reversed after this encounter - the recruitable version of Jim is actually "the brains of the outfit" and his brother Joe becomes a stupid (IN 3) that "likes to bash things and act all masculine".
  • In The Armageddon Rag, Vol. 3, the Brothers Grimm is a reference to the group of Brotherhood of Steel members in the short story "On the Beach".
