Brotherhood of Steel holotag is a junk item in Fallout 4.
Background[]
These tags (along with normal metal tags)[1] were used by the United States Armed Forces[2] and are used by the New California Republic Army,[3] the Brotherhood of Steel,[4] and the Enclave[5]
to store identification information and basic medical information for their personnel.[Non-game 1]
Characteristics[]
Holotags are small and durable tags used to identify their wearer in case of their death. They are not intrinsically valuable, but are used to track casualties by their issuer. They can also act as a data recorder for a suit of power armor, providing the issuer a record of the deeds of their fallen wearer.[6][7][8] In some cases, information such as the soldier's full name, signature, identification number, blood type, security clearance, expiration date, base of operations, and a slogan You think you can take me? You go right ahead are displayed below a barcode. Other tags contain name and address only.[9]
