The Brotherhood elder's robe is a unique piece of clothing in Fallout: New Vegas.

Characteristics

It provides a Damage Threshold of 1 and can only be repaired with Jury Rigging or an NPC repairman (like Raul Tejada). It is a robe of an elder in the Brotherhood of Steel. Despite the name, it is not considered faction armor.

Locations

At the start of the game, it is worn by Elder McNamara. Edgar Hardin will wear one if the Courier chooses to help Hardin remove McNamara as elder during the Still in the Dark quest in the Hidden Valley bunker.

Bugs

PC Playstation 3 Xbox 360 Occasionally, the robe will become unwearable, with the message "you can't equip this item". This can be fixed by dropping it and picking it up. ^[verified]
