The brainwave siphon is a world object in Fallout 76, introduced in the Invaders from Beyond update.
Characteristics[]
Brainwave siphons are used by the Zetan aliens in their attacks on Earth. Several of these (named Kappa, Omega, and Zeta) must be destroyed during the seasonal event Invaders from Beyond. The devices are typically protected by force fields, which are controlled by alien commanders.[1] Brainwave siphons can also cause energy pulses, which will damage humans if they are caught within range. They will give off an alert before releasing the pulses, shown when the device turns red and produces an audio cue.

During the Public Test Server phase, the brainwave siphon was called a P.R.O.B.E.
