Brahmin are a species of mutated, domesticated cattle raised and herded in human settlements around Los Angeles in the Fallout TV series
Background [ ] The mutant descendants of pre-War cows, brahmin have been domesticated and herded in the wasteland for years following the nuclear apocalypse. Through their domestication, they have been used primarily as pack animals doubling as sources of meat and milk, along with their hides being used for tanning to make leather.
On the West Coast by the 2290s , brahmin can be found in most agricultural communities and brought as pack animals all around, including to the trading town of Filly .
Characteristics [ ] A large bovine close in appearance to a pre-War cow, distinguished by their abnormally large udders and two fully functional heads. Scientific resarch has determined that the species is born with eight stomachs,[1]
