Bombs Drop is a limited-time community event in Fallout 76.

Free Play Week[]
During the Bombs Drop event, Fallout 76 is free-to-play on almost all platforms. Any accounts created during this time save progress as normal, should the player decide to purchase the game. During the 2020 celebration, free trails for Fallout 1st were offered as well.

- The discount Bombs Drop Atom Pack sales were not available to consoles users in Japan and Playstation users in Asia.[1]
- The Windows 10 version of Fallout 76 did not support the Free Play Week in 2021. PC users were required to use either the Bethesda.net, Steam or Xbox Play Anywhere clients.
- Xbox users required an active Xbox Gold membership in order to participate in Free Play Week in 2021.
- PlayStation users required an active PlayStation Plus membership in order to participate in Free Play Week in 2021.
