Bo only appears if Jo dies during the attack on the Ghost Farm. If the Chosen One marries Miria (or Davin if he survived the fight), Bo will take Jo's place in the ceremony. However, Bo's only other purpose is to mumble about how all of the Slags were slaughtered.
