Inspired by a comment from DyreWolf last week, I'm including a question about (mostly) everyone's favorite: Ice Cream!

People who advocate eating of insects (mostly crickets) say that they are more nutritious and full of protein than your average steak, and more plentiful and easy to grow. There's even "cricket flour" made from dried and powdered crickets "for use in the home".

For obvious purposes, I will never be eating bugs. I don't advocate it, either. Disgusting.

Some players in Nuclear Winter have begun the usual Bethesda complaints up again. This time, it's over Frog Legs, a perk in FO76's Nuclear Winter that allows one to jump 300% higher. Apparently, this perk can be abused to degrees greater than any other perk, and folks have begun…

    Fallout News Stuffs:
As ya'll have presumably already seen, Fandom has announced that our MediaWiki will be getting a big upgrade at some point in the future.

There's not many details on what version, or when this will occur, but Fandom has promised to rewrite much of the site's underlying code in order to deal with the currently million-line-long mess of modifications that Fandom has tacked on to MediaWiki over the years.

Welcome to today, The Longest Day of The Year. The sun has been rising in the east earlier, but no longer. Today, it shall get shorter until it goes back to "normal". Unfortunate truth is that you just get one minute less of suffering in the heat each day. Not much, but suffering is suffering. I don't know if it makes a difference when the nights can be almost as blasted hot (it was in the 80's last night) as the daytime...

"A la mode" means fashionable, or stylish. However, it also can mean "topped with ice cream".

Ice cream topped fashion, anyone? Believe it or not, when I used to read fashion mags (a zillion years ago), they had some pretty dumb photo spreads almost like that, I kid you not.

The prequel mod New California for FNV is finally…

    Fallout News Stuffs:
The group known as Spank, which has helpfully given us the cover of "Take Me Home, Country Roads" used in Fallout 76, has teamed up with Bethesda yet again - this time for a cover of a song made famous by Johnny Cash, "Ring of Fire." The song is used in the trailer for 76's newest gamemode, Nuclear Winter, currently in "pre-beta."

The song is available on iTunes and can be found here; the trailer can be found below.

Oh. Also, important to note: Fallout 76 is free to download and use from June 10 to June 17 (Monday).

If you haven't seen the game yet (and your PC can play it), go 'head and take a peek at it this weekend.

I was watching a British cooking show contest on public TV, and the thought occurred to me: Since we get so much old TV shows on public TV (maybe you don't notice if you don't watch that kind of channel) of British origin, do they get our old shows? Because we obviously buy their old shows, so does it go vice versa, as well? It seems like so many made-for-public-TV shows and movies have British accents, so...wouldn't you come to that conclusion?

In Seattle, Washington, residents may not carry concealed weapons longer than six feet.

How would you conceal it, anyway? With it being that long? -_-

In a trailer at E3 - to the tune of the lovely Ring of Fire - Bethesda has announced the Nuclear Winter gamemode for Fallout 76, a fight-to-the-death b…

In a recent interview given by Todd Howard, the Bethesda Man gave a rundown of the low expectations for Fallout 76:

Interesting (perhaps strange) comment. I'd wonder if they should have taken more time to smooth out those "bumps"... Sound familiar, New Vegas? To me, waiting six months after your release to fix the bumps seems a lot like opening a road while the pavement is still being smoothed out.

It finally rained, but of course that has its downsides in the summer: afterwards (usually the day afterward...or that same day when/if the sun comes out) it gets really humid. Not fun at all.

Nomad provided this bit of interesting trivia:

A kangaroo escaped from a mobile zoo in southern Mississippi (Gulfport) on Wednesday. Gulfport police issued a BOLO on the kangaroo, which we're assuming/hoping is a very rare occurrence. The kangaroo is apparently still at large.

I would have liked to have seen that. Wonder why I didn't hear about it on the news? Unless, of course, Nomad's pulling my leg...

Remember the nylon bag fiasco from earlier this year / last year in Fallout 76? Well, the replacement bags are due to be shipped out the coming week (assu…
