Bloatfly meat is a consumable item in Fallout: New Vegas.
Characteristics[]
Bloatfly meat is the insectoid meat that can be scavenged from the many bloatflies around the wasteland.
It restores 5 Hit Points, but also gives a small amount of radiation, in the form of 5 rads. It can also be used to make a bloatfly slider at campfires. Additionally, in hardcore mode, it can reduce Starvation by 25, at the expense of -1 Strength for a 2 minutes duration.
