The birthday cake is a world and workshop object in Fallout 76, introduced in the Once in a Blue Moon update. It is a resource-gathering object that creates slices of birthday cake.

The birthday cake acts as a resource-gathering container. It generates a slice of birthday cake once every ten minutes, and can hold up to eight slices.
The model is a recreation of birthday cakes as they appeared in Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, most prominently during the birthday party in Growing Up Fast in Fallout 3.

The birthday cake was unlocked upon completing a challenge in the 2023 Birthday Challenge, to complete five of the seven other challenges in the event's first week. Once unlocked, it could then be crafted at any C.A.M.P. or workshop.

Only one birthday cake can be built per C.A.M.P. or workshop. It shares a C.A.M.P. slot with the slime cake.
