Transcript[]
Layout[]
The monument is a small point of interest, consisting of the monument itself and a parking lot across the road. In front of the monument is a small gathering area with the aforementioned informational plaque, as well as a camera for a photo opportunity inside of the bucket.
Notable loot[]
- Abraxodyne intel:
- One can be found in the back of a van on a wooden bridge, north-northeast of the bucket.
- One can be found next to a skeleton sitting at a table, in the camp ground north-northwest of the bucket.
- Potential Vault-Tec bobblehead spawn - On top of the back side of the bucket.
Notes[]
As an unmarked location, this monument is only referred to by name in the information plaque message in-game. The editor IDs in the game's files for layer records also identify it as "BigBucket",[1][2] and the message record for the information plaque as "Big Muskie's Bucket".[3]
Appearances[]
Big Muskie's Bucket appears only in Fallout 76, introduced in the Burning Springs update.
Behind the scenes[]
This location is based on the real-world Big Muskie's Bucket attraction in McConnelsville, Ohio. It is the only remnant of the world's largest single-bucket dragline excavator, Big Muskie.
