Bess is a brahmin found dead at the Chestnut Hillock Reservoir.
Background[]
Bess was Edwin's brahmin, living at the Chestnut Hillock Reservoir. They first arrived on the evening of 9/7/2287 and by the 12th Edwin noted Bess was settling in well. Soon after, bloatflies began harassing Bess. Edwin chased them off and made a bug zapper to keep them away but it wasn't enough to hold back the more resilient insects that spooked Bess.[1] By the time the Sole Survivor arrives it is apparent she could not withstand or escape the attacks.
