My old friend Jimbo said this place was packed with various kinds of mutations. I dunno, sometimes he's full of it, but I believe him in this case.

The beggar is an ally cut from the Fallout 76 update Wastelanders.

Background[]

The beggar would have been a fully-fledged ally, and had an associated item to be built in a Vault Dweller's C.A.M.P., the beggar's mat. He would be wearing a bathrobe and a tin foil hat. He would have had grime on his face, dark hair and a full beard.

He was confirmed to have been voiced by Richard Horvitz, but he was cut or otherwise not implemented into the game. It is unknown if he will be added in a future update, but several editor IDs for AI packages and NPC listings (still present in the game files) indicate that he was meant to be a part of Wastelanders.

Notes[]

The beggar was essentially a prototype version of raider punk. This is supported by him being included in the internal Crater Raiders faction, indicating that he may have had some connection to the group. He also mentions a friend named Jimbo, and much of the beggar's and raider punk's lines are exactly the same. Like the raider punk, the beggar would have sent the player character on radiant quests to kill monsters.

Appearances[]
