Beam (Weapon) Me Up is a damage challenge in Fallout: New Vegas.
Challenge requirements[edit | edit source]
The Courier must inflict 25,000 points of damage with rifle-grip laser(see notes) weapons:
- Laser rifle
- Plasma rifle
- Laser RCW
- Pulse gun
- Tri-beam laser rifle
- Recharger rifle
- Multiplas rifle
- Gauss rifle
Effects[edit | edit source]
Grants one level of the Set Lasers for Fun perk upon completion.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- Despite specifying "beam weapons," damage dealt by non-laser energy weapons also count towards this challenge.
- This challenge is not repeatable.
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
The name of the challenge comes from the phrase, "Beam me up, Scotty," a line commonly associated with Star Trek, despite it never having been spoken in the show.
