The barrel burial site is an unmarked location in the Savage Divide region of Appalachia.

Background[]

Someone was paid cash to dispose of several barrels, though they died nearby. Their skeleton lies next to their final deed.[1]

Layout[]

Located just north of Sugar Grove, a scene can be found where a skeleton in a lab coat lays next to a gas mask. Nearby are several partially buried barrels covered in stacks of pre-War money and a shovel. A Pick-R-Up truck is parked nearby, the bed of which contains several more barrels.

Appearances[]

The barrel burial appears only in Fallout 76.

Behind the scenes[]

This location is a cultural reference to the scene from Breaking Bad in which Walter White buries barrels full of money in the desert.
