For an overview of bandanas in the Fallout series, see Bandana. |
The bandana is a type of headwear in Fallout 4.
Characteristics[]
It provides no damage resistance and is purely a cosmetic item - however, it is counted as a piece of lower headwear, which allows the user to equip any sort of upper headwear at the same time. It can be equipped by Dogmeat.
Locations[]
- May be dropped by attack dogs as well as some named dogs.
- May spawn on scavengers.
- Gunner's bandanas and skull bandanas can be found on low-level Gunners.
- Can be acquired from Erickson if Dogmeat is present.
- Often found on wasteland travelers visiting the Nuka-Town market.
Blue bandana[]
- Cambridge Polymer Labs - Next to a skeleton on the deck of a fishing boat to the southwest.
- Greenetech Genetics - On the deck of a fishing boat to the south.
- Sandy Coves Convalescent Home - On the deck of a fishing boat that has run aground to the northwest.
- USS Constitution - Next to a floating skeleton on the deck of a partially flooded fishing boat to the southwest.
Jangles bandana[]
- Bradberton Amphitheater - Under a Pack rad gorilla chair in Nuka-Town backstage.
Red bandana[]
- Quincy ruins - On a metal shelf next to the wall terminal in the gun shop.
- Red Rocket truck stop - On a dresser on the second floor of the closest house to the south. The dresser is guaranteed to hold a pair of welding goggles and a red bandana that adds one more every time the cell loads.
- Roadside Pines Motel - On a windowsill on the bottom floor of the destroyed hilltop house due west.
- Glowing Grove - Draped on a tombstone in the dilapidated cemetery to the southeast.
Stars and Stripes bandana[]
- Monsignor Plaza - On a wall shelf behind the counter of the clothing store on the first floor.
Notes[]
- All bandanas are equippable on both NPCs and dogs as a cosmetic item.
- The Stars and Stripes bandana is patterned after the 50-star United States flag adopted in July 1960; in the series' history, the flag of the United States by the time of the Great War had been further modified to a variation of the "Cowpens" flag, and should have 13 stars surrounding a larger 14th.
