Aster is a food item in Fallout 76.
Characteristics[]
A purple flower, consumed raw to satisfy a negligible amount of hunger with a medium dose of radiation and low chance for disease or can be cooked for additional benefits.
Blast zone[]
When affected by a blast zone, it mutates into red hot bloom which will yield raw crimson flux when harvested.
Locations[]
Located primarily in the Savage Divide region and in the following locations:
- Three plants can be found outside the East Mountain lookout, near the rusty jeep.
- Two plants can be found northeast of relay tower EL-B1-02.
- There are 22 asters total, 11 of which are in a small field on the north side of, the Palace of the Winding Path.
- Slightly north of the Whitespring Resort fast travel point, bordering the road and paths.
- At the Philippi Battlefield Cemetery, planted at several graves.
- One plant can be found halfway between Prickett's Fort and Knife Edge, next to a telephone pole.
- Many just northwest of Arktos Pharma.
May be dispensed by the budding apothecary.
Behind the scenes[]
In a removed Vault 94 greenhouse terminal entry, the aster is referred to as Symphyotrichum cordifolium, or the common blue wood aster.[1]
