Background[]
A well-dressed short man with jet-black hair, a nice smile and a greasy look to him, Ascorti is the sleazy mayor of Redding.[1] First and foremost an entrepreneur, he owns the only casino in Redding (incidentally, also the town hall) and most of the real estate in the city, including widow Rooney's home and the Great Wanamingo Mine. He possesses a truly silver tongue and can turn any situation in his advantage... and should that prove fruitless, he has a number of faithful guards ready to do it.
