Antiseptic is a second star armor and power armor legendary mod in Fallout 76, introduced in the Milepost Zero update.
Effects[]
Although the effect is supposed to reduce the disease chance, currently it incorrectly increases the disease chance. It stacks additively up to +125%. Environmental disease chance stacks with regular disease chance.
The effect works only with environmental hazard, that is diseases gained by being in water, being hit by traps, sleeping in sleeping bags and inhalation of toxic air. Affected diseases include: Bone worms, Sludge lung, Neddle spine, Parasites and Swamp itch. The chance of getting them from other sources remains unchanged.
Tips & Tricks[]
Natural Resistance, Thirst Quencher and Iron Stomach perks work only while not diseased, so it's worth pairing them with Antiseptic legendary effect. To get even more disease resistance, it's also good to increase Endurance, since it increases the overall disease resistance. Vaccinated perk and various food buff will reduce disease chances even more.
