Andrew Rhodes was a member of the original Responders in Appalachia, seeking to join the elite Fire Breathers to combat the surge of the Scorched Plague. His remains are found in Fallout 76.
Background[]
Sometime prior to 2095, the Scorchslayers squad were sent to the Belching Betty mine to demonstrate their training against the Scorched inside in order to complete their final exam for membership in the Fire Breathers division of the Responders.[1] Consisting of squad leader Maxine Ballard along with members Rhodes, Rita Wilcox, Timothy Wolfe, and Sylvester Tate, the group encountered heavy offensives from the Scorched while trying to find Melody Larkin's beacon as part of the exam, leading to Rhodes and Wolfe dying when a fear-stricken Tate failed to cover their flank.[2] The remaining members of the squad would perish a short time later as well, with all of their remains left to rot in the Scorched-filled mine.[3]
