All right, let me just bolt you into the ol' Doctor here...hope the anesthesia reservoir ain't clogged again...maybe you better bite down on this piece of brahmin hide just in case.

"Doctor" Andrew is the "doctor" of Vault City's courtyard in 2241.

Background[]

Andrew is more or less an average citizen left in charge of a malfunctioning Auto-Doc just outside of Vault City. He has received very little, if any, medical training, and will make that known in conversation.

Quests[]

  • Repair Vault City's Auto-Doc: After speaking to Andrew about the Auto-Doc, the player can choose to repair it.
  • Gain combat implants: After repairing Andrew's Auto-Doc, he can give combat implants via his Auto-Doc, if one gives him the relevant blueprints and materials to do so.

Other interactions[]

Andrew can amputate mutated toes via his Auto-Doc. However, if the Auto-Doc has not been repaired and an amputation takes place, the mutated toe will regrow.

Behind the scenes[]

  • Given the name of Andrew's dialogue file, VCANDY.MSG, he was originally named Andy.
  • The Chosen One references the Red Dwarf character Kryten after receiving an implant from Andrew.[1]
