Ammunition boxes are containers found in Fallout 3.
Characteristics[]
The boxes contain leveled loot including a variety of ammunition types. Some are locked, and all but a few contain ammunition when initially found. Some ammunition boxes in Rivet City, specifically at Flak 'N Shrapnel's, are locked but empty.

- Theo's ammo box - contains four frag grenades and a large supply of ammo, found next to deceased Reilly's Rangers member Theo, located on a stairway in the Statesman Hotel's mid-level.

- 15 boxes in Fort Constantine, bomb storage, in the Very Hard-locked ammunition storage.
- Seven in Evan King's house.
- Seven in Alexandria Arms, same room as the pre-War book.
- Six in the Arlington Library children's wing.
- Six at the military checkpoint, west of the Northwest Seneca Station.
- Four in Metro Central.
- Four in the Arlington utility.
- Three boxes at the military checkpoint near Roosevelt Academy.
- Three in Vault 92 living quarters, south on the local map.
- Two in the archival strongroom of the National Archives, next to the safe holding the Declaration of Independence.
- Two in the National Archives secure wing east, next to the safe holding the Magna Carta.
- Two at a shack southeast of Jalbert Brothers waste disposal.
- One in the Grayditch sewer (holds a missile).
- 16 in the Chinese Intelligence bunker.
Notes[]
- Two ammunition boxes in Fort Independence contain alien power cells. With Broken Steel installed, the Olney Powerworks also contains two ammunition boxes with alien power cells.
- Agatha has an ammunition box in her house that contains a mini nuke, amongst other ammunition.
