The all-purpose science suit is a unique piece of clothing in Fallout: New Vegas.

Characteristics

This armor provides a Damage Threshold of 13 and bonus of 5 to Science, and can be repaired with scientist outfits. It has the highest Damage Threshold-to-weight ratio in the game, especially when the Pack Rat perk is active.

Locations

After installing the 1.2 patch, it is sitting on the middle one of three beds in the Followers safehouse. The safehouse key is acquired from Julie Farkas after becoming Idolized with the Followers.

Notes

• The suit was originally cut from Fallout: New Vegas, but was restored with the 1.2 patch.
• This suit is physically identical to the Enclave scientist outfit.

Bugs

• Playstation 3 It is possible to obtain multiple copies of the suit via deleting the patch 1.2, then re-downloading it; the all-purpose science suit will reappear on the bed. ^[verified]
• Xbox 360 After patch 1.3, the safehouse may replenish its weapons and armor and any stored items may be lost, meaning that you can get two copies of this armor. ^[verified]
