The alien blaster is a small but very powerful energy weapon of alien origin which appears in Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, Fallout 4, Fallout 76, Fallout Shelter and Fallout: The Board Game.
Small energy cell alien blasterEdit
A special alien blaster with a different design and color compared to others alien weapons and using small energy cells, which could indicate that this weapon was a prototype used to avoid having to replenish alien power cells on Earth. It shoots a purple electric bolt and is particularly devastating as a close range weapon.
The alien blaster is extraordinarily rare, uses very limited ammunition, is incredibly powerful, and it surpasses most other alien weapons (despite its size). It is one of the most formidable weapons in the Fallout games to date.

Alien blaster pistolEdit
The alien blaster pistol is a unique weapon in Fallout 4 and a highly rare one in Fallout 76, in Fallout 4 can be found being wielded by an alien, in a cave near the unmarked UFO crash site location. It uses the limited alien blaster round for ammunition, but can be modified to use standard fusion cells. In Fallout 76 it can be found at the toxic pond and wreckage, inside a broken safe, submerged in a pool of toxic water. A unique version of the Alien blaster pistol called The V.A.T.S. Unknown can be obtained as a reward for completing the quest Mission Out-of-Control given by Sofia Daguerre.
