Acid is a crafting component in Fallout 76.

Acid is an uncommon component that is primarily used in chemistry stations for smelting ore and crafting unrefined gunpowder. It can be collected through several means, such as scrapping various junk that acid is used as part of, such as fertilizer or in cleaning products. Acid is also used in the production of gunpowder for ballistic ammunition and fuel for the flamer. Acid can also be found out in the wild in acid deposits, easily identified by their yellow-green colored veins and pale white dirt surrounding them. Getting too close to the exposed veins can cause minor damage that can stack if standing in the vein for too long.
