Abraham Lincoln was the 16th president of the United States of America, serving from 1861 to 1865.[1]
Background
The president's years in office were the subject of an exhibit at the Museum of History before the Great War.[1] His emancipation of the slaves is a very important aspect of his presidency to people in the Capital Wasteland, particularly to those who are part of the Temple of the Union. On the other hand, the slavers seek to destroy as much of his legacy and his personal effects as possible, and occupy the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C.
Notes
- The ruins of the Museum of American History have a wing dedicated to Lincoln, featuring a number of items that can be sold to either the escaped slave Hannibal Hamlin, the slaver Leroy Walker, or the historian Abraham Washington in Rivet City, who was named by his parents in a tribute to Lincoln and George Washington.
- A shrine to Lincoln can be found in the basement of Arlington House.
- In addition to the non-usable artifacts in the museum, it is also possible to recover two equipable items that once belonged to Lincoln, Lincoln's repeater and Lincoln's hat.
- Lincoln's head is tied to Lady Jane's brahmin in the broc flower cave in Fallout: New Vegas.
- A plaque in Wixon's Shovel Museum references Abraham Lincoln and his cousin's neighbor.
- A terminal in the presidential cottage at the Whitespring Resort mentions Lincoln as one of the presidents that stayed there.
- The Enclave membership questionnaire at the Whitespring bunker lists Lincoln as one of the incorrect answers as to who the 18th president was.
- The athlete exam at the Pioneer Scout camp lists Lincoln as the correct answer to which U.S. president had a reputation as a wrestler.[2]
