The Abilene Kid LE BB gun is a unique weapon in Fallout: New Vegas. It is a variant of the BB gun. On the weapon's stock is the inscription "Abilene Kid/Limited Edition/1 of 200."
Characteristics
This weapon has extra critical damage and a higher critical chance. However, due to its high value and the weakness of the weapon, it is better sold for Caps. An exception to this is if you have high enough luck/finesse perk, it is actually a reliable weapon. The critical hit bonus also applies to sneak attacks, which, combined with the quietness of the weapon, makes it very useful for stealthy players.
Locations
It can be found in Fields' Shack, southwest of Nellis Air Force Base. The shack is right next to the main road leading in to the base. The gun is sitting on one of the shelves on the left wall.
If you have the Wild Wasteland trait, the gun will instead be located inside a well that appears in front of the shack. The well appears upon talking to Rex and asking him if someone fell down a well. Doing this will cause you to receive a map marker denoting the location of Jimmy's Well.
Appearances
The Abilene Kid LE BB gun appears in Fallout: New Vegas and Fallout 2, where the player can find Jonny's BB Gun in a well in Modoc.
