The Abandoned shack is an unmarked location in the Mojave Wasteland.

Layout

Exterior

The Abandoned shack is a unmarked location situated N-NW of Yangtze Memorial.

Interior

It is a single room building with a usable bed, reloading bench and working, though heavily radiated sink and toilet. There is scattered loot on the benches and on the floor. Externally, the building appears to be either a rusted Quonset Hut or remains of an airline a la Fallout 3. The sign above the door reads as "The Hornits Nest 588", probably suggesting the original builder(s) of the shack.

Notes

• Since the location is convenient to Goodsprings, players might be interested in using the place as player housing. The only problem with this idea is that there are a significant number of Giant Radscorpions (sometimes more than 5) that regularly prowl nearby and a deathclaw that occasionally spawns and patrols the area just outside the shack.
• Oddly, there is a fire burning in the garbage can in this shack, even though it is abandoned.
