A huge mistake is a paper note in Fallout 76, introduced in the Burning Springs update.

This note can be found next to a dead Highway Town settler, on top of the awning on the left side of the main warehouse, at the Railroad service yard.

We thought there would only be a few of them... then when we opened the door, we got swarmed. They got Mike and Jerry. It was chaos. Sarah and I ran to try and escape as soon as them two got mauled. Last I saw, she was running along the platform followed by a group of those things. I climbed up here to get away from them, which seemed like a good plan at first but I ain't got no food or water. It looks like these ferals aren't gonna let up. They've been circling below for days.
Dammit. We should have waited for the others to come back before trying anything. They're not even back yet, something could have went wrong for them too. At this point, it feels hopeless and I'm running out of options. I'm not sure what to do.
