“Large caliber ammunition, 14mm armor piercing.”
14mm AP is a type of ammunition used in Fallout 2.
Background[]
This sizable cartridge was imported to the United States prior to the Great War.[1]
Characteristics[]
The ammo type is coded in a fashion that compares it unfavorably with other similar weapons, such as .223 pistols, and even Desert Eagles: The target's Damage Resistance is reduced by a flat 50%, but its Damage Threshold is not affected. As such, the halved base damage of the 14mm pistol is further reduced by the DT, making it useless as more than a collectible item.
