The 12.7mm submachine gun (GRA) is a weapon added with the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Gun Runners' Arsenal.
Characteristics[]
Compared to the standard 12.7mm SMG, the customizable version can be equipped with additional modifications that lower its spread and increase its ammo capacity along with a similar, separate suppressor mod that turns it into a silent weapon.
Durability[]
The 12.7mm submachine gun (GRA) can fire a total of about 2,495 standard rounds, the equivalent of 119 reloads, or 93 reloads when modified with stacked magazines, from full condition before breaking.
| Ammunition type | Unmodified | W/ Stacked magazine | ||
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Shots | Reloads | Shots | Reloads | |
| Standard, HP & JHP | 2495 | 119 | 2495 | 93 |
Modifications[]
- 12.7mm SMG laser sight - decreases spread by 0.4 (from 2 to 1.6).
- 12.7mm SMG stacked magazine - increases ammunition capacity by 6 rounds, from 21 to 27.
- 12.7mm SMG suppressor - silences the weapon.
Variants[]
- 12.7mm submachine gun - the standard variant found in the Mojave Wasteland.

- 188 Trading Post - Sold by Alexander.
- Sold by various merchants around the Mojave Wasteland.
Notes[]
The GRA version of the weapon's suppressor mod is not interchangeable with the standard's suppressor mod, i.e. the 12.7mm SMG (GRA) will not accept the non-GRA silencer, and the non-GRA version will not accept the SMG suppressor.
Behind the scenes[]
The 12.7mm SMG's design is almost entirely fictional save for a couple of elements that were loosely inspired by the FN P90 and the KRISS Vector.[Non-game 2]
Bugs[]
- Sometimes, despite having the necessary mods, they will not be able to be applied to the weapon.[verified]
- The weapon may turn invisible while aiming down the sight.[verified]
