Characteristics[edit | edit source]
More common at higher levels, the 12.7mm submachine gun is a heavy-duty large-caliber submachine gun (SMG). It features an unconventional top-mounted magazine, which lies parallel to the weapon's barrel. It boasts a high damage-per-second but suffers from a small magazine capacity and a fairly large spread.
This weapon has more weapon modifications available to it than the standard version.
Durability[edit | edit source]
The 12.7mm submachine gun (GRA) can fire a total of about 2,495 standard rounds, the equivalent of 119 reloads, or 93 reloads when modified with stacked magazines, from full condition before breaking.

---|---|---|---|---|
Shots | Reloads | Shots | Reloads | |
Standard, HP & JHP | 2495 | 119 | 2495 | 93 |

- 12.7mm submachine gun stacked magazine - increases ammunition capacity by 6 rounds, from 21 to 27.
- 12.7mm submachine gun suppressor - silences the weapon.

Locations[edit | edit source]
- Gun Runners, sold by Vendortron.
- 188 trading post, sold by Alexander.
- Sold by various merchants around the Mojave Wasteland.
- Legionary assassins may have it.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- Like the anti-materiel rifle's suppressor, the 12.7mm SMG's suppressor only reduces the weapon's noise from loud to normal, rather than completely silencing it, meaning that NPCs will still hear the shots, albeit not as easily as before.
- The GRA version of the silencer (suppressor) on this weapon is not interchangeable with the one for the standard version silencer.
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
The 12.7mm SMG is almost entirely fictional, though a couple of elements were loosely inspired by the FN P90 and TDI Vector.[1]
Bugs[edit | edit source]
- Sometimes, despite having the necessary mods, they will not be able to be applied to the weapon.[verified]
- The weapon may turn invisible while aiming down the sight. [verified]
