For an overview of NCR currency, see NCR dollars. |
$100 NCR is a miscellaneous item in Fallout: New Vegas.
Characteristics[]
$100 NCR features a picture of President Tandi on the face of the bill and the scene of the Dayglow Incorporation Address on the back. The bill is the largest denomination of the NCR dollar.
As with any form of currency in Fallout: New Vegas, $100 NCR is not affected by the Courier's Barter skill. The currency will always be valued at 40 caps, regardless of whether the Courier is buying or selling.
Locations[]
$100 NCR can be found on numerous types of non-player characters, including Powder Gangers, NCR troopers and merchants. It will never be found on members of Caesar's Legion. Casinos will exchange poker chips for any denomination of currency desired, including this one.
Behind the scenes[]
- A cut version of $100 NCR exists in Fallout: New Vegas' resources. It is a non-currency item, meaning its price is affected by the Courier's Barter skill. It is otherwise identical to the normal currency version.
- Dropping a stack of 33,000 or more $100 NCR bills breaks the game's 16-bit (4-hex) string used to store a number of items. This results in a stack of -32,000 $100 NCR bills which will disappear from the inventory when picked up.
