PTS Update - June 4, 2021[]

Below you will find some high-level Patch Notes from our June 4 update. Thank you for all the bug reports and feedback you have provided us! Please note there are spoilers for the Steel Reign questline below.

In addition to the bug fixes listed below, we have also added in the Season 5 Scoreboard.

Items[]

  • APC Survival Tent: the APC Tent is no longer missing the Stash box.
  • Mercenary Outfit: Preview model when inspecting the outfit is no longer upside down.
  • Weapons Workbenches: Entering and exiting a Weapons Workbench while in third person no longer causes the player to be flung backwards.
  • Radios: Translated “radio” in non-English languages at Minerva’s Camp.
  • Stimpaks: Using a Stimpak quickly while exiting Power Armor no longer causes movement issues.

Legendary[]

  • Crafting: Secret Service, Strangler Heart, Solar and Thorn armor can now receive Legendary mods.
  • Crafting: Anti-Scorched Training Pistol is now eligible for Legendary Crafting.
  • Crafting: Secret Service, Strangler Heart, Solar and Thorn armor can now receive Legendary mods.
  • Drops: Public Events and Daily Ops will now properly grant legendary cores on completion.
  • Last Shot: Fixed an issue with 'Last Shot' providing an incorrect damage bonus.
  • Mods: Crafting legendary mods will no longer kick players out of the workbench.
  • Mods: Unyielding is no longer available to Power Armor.
  • Mods: Stalker's is no longer available to Melee Weapons.
  • Mods: Added the following Legendary mods to melee weapons:
    • V.A.T.S. critical Shots now do +50% damage.
    • Your V.A.T.S. critical meter fills 15% faster.
    • 25% less V.A.T.S. Action Point cost.
  • Mods: All Black Powder weapons can now receive the Explosive Legendary mod.
  • Mods: Heavyweight has been removed from the Legendary Mod pool.
  • Mods: The Quad Legendary mod is now also available to automatic weapons, except for weapons using cores for ammo (Plasma or Fusion).
  • Mods: The Quad mod can now be rolled when the Automatic Receiver is attached to the weapon.
  • Mods: Dissipating Legendary mod will no longer trigger when the player is in combat.
  • Mods: Addressed an issue where item names would not dynamically change when the player first applies a Legendary Mod.
  • UI: A tutorial screen giving an overview of the legendary crafting system will now appear when receiving a legendary core for the first time.
  • UI: Crafting legendary mods will trigger a flyout UI prompt, highlighting which legendary mods were generated.

NPCs[]

  • Brotherhood Initiate/Hopeful: Addressed issues with non-conditional idle lines.
  • Joanna Mayfield: Added in translations for Joanna’s name in non-English clients.
  • Herschel Klein: Added in translations for Herschel’s name in non-English clients, and addressed non translated dialogue choices.
  • Marty and Colin Putnam: No longer wear Brotherhood uniforms in Lewis & Sons Farm before being recruited.
  • Maximo Leone: Addressed issues with Maximo’s voice lines.
  • Minerva: Various updates to Minerva’s inventory lists.
  • Minerva: Added in translations for Minerva’s name in non-English languages.
  • Paladin Rahmani: Addressed issues with out of place dialogue lines.
  • Tommy Ten-Toes: Added in translations to Tommy’s name and dialogue in non-English languages.

Perks[]

  • Born Survivor: Addressed an issue where Born Survivor would activate after the player character’s death.

##### Quests - The Catalyst: Nellie no longer stops attacking the player when leaving the FEV Production Facility. - The Catalyst: Paladin Rahmani/Knight Shin no longer appear at Fort Atlas prior to completing The Catalyst: - The Catalyst: Blackburn no longer will be standing instead of tied down during the Fort Atlas scene at the start of the quest. - The Catalyst: Addressed a quest blocker that occurred when looting the West Tek Viewing Chamber Password and relogging. - The Catalyst: Opening doors to the Dispensary Lab without the terminal no longer causes the Quest marker to disappear. - The Catalyst: Standing too close to the Hatch no longer teleports the players and blocks progression. - The Catalyst: Mutant Dr Blackburn’s area of effect poison attacks no longer play Floater death sounds. - The Catalyst: The camera now correctly focuses on Doctor Farha during dialogue. - A Knights Penance: Team members will no longer be removed from the instance if they enter the Hidden Crevice before the Team Leader. - A Knights Penance: Addressed an issue where Supermutants could spawn inside a cage. - A Knight’s Penance: Fixed translation issues with the Supermutant Berserker. - A Knights Penance: Paladin Rahmani no longer faces a wall during conversation. - A Knight's Penance: Fixed an issue that could prevent players from picking up a shovel needed to progress the quest. - Missing Persons: The “Copy of Research Notes” Holotape now has a quest items tag. - Missing Persons: Marcia is no longer present in the Crater War Room before the objective to locate her. - Missing Persons: Teammates can no longer unlock the AMS Headquarters basement Lab early. - Missing Persons: Addressed an issue where teammates could not kill various NPC enemies. - Missing Persons: Marcia now crouches with the player. - Missing Persons: Players can no longer infinitely gain or lose reputation with Marcia. - Missing Persons: Starting the cutscene with Kit before clearing the mercenaries no longer blocks progress. - Missing Persons: Addressed various issues that occur when a player relogs after searching Kit’s body. - Missing Persons: Enemies will no longer spawn on the top floor of AMS Headquarters after defeating Kit. - Missing Persons: Addressed missing dialogue with Marcia. - Missing Persons: Killing third floor enemies at AMS before talking to Marcia no longer will cause the quest objective to disappear. - Missing Persons: Kit can no longer be shot through the glass during the “Clear the Enemies” stage. - Missing Persons: Marcia will no longer sometimes clone in AMS Headquarters. - Missing Persons: Addressed an issue where the “Go down to the Lobby” objective would not complete if the player took an alternate route. - Missing Persons: Addressed an issue where the elevator may not be responsive. - Missing Persons: AMS basement Key now shows in the players inventory after picking it up. - Missing Persons: Raider corpse no longer can wear a Blood Eagle outfit. - Missing Persons: Kit no longer occasionally spawns outside of his office. - Missing Persons: Fixed various dialog phrases with Kit. - Missing Persons: Fixed various translation issues. - Missing Persons: Fixed various incorrect subtitles. - Out of the Blue: Players can no longer block another player's instance by already completing Out of the Blue. - Out of the Blue: Rahmani no longer mentions having a drink with the player before they’ve completed the quest. - Out of the Blue: Addressed various translation issues. - Out of the Blue: Players can no longer get stuck while talking to Joanna while sitting in a chair. - A Satisfied Conscience: Addressed an issue with NPC’s not fighting with the player in Vault 96. - A Satisfied Conscience: Addressed mismatched VO with Cassie. - A Satisfied Conscience: Notes in Italian are no longer blank. - A Satisfied Conscience: Quest markers no longer occasionally disappear above the Blood Eagles.

Weapons[]

  • Bows: Addressed an issue where only the first arrow being shot from a bow dealt damage to enemies.
  • Knives: Addressed an animation issue while holding Knives.
  • Gamma Gun: Fixed an issue with the base Gamma Gun dealing less damage than intended.
  • Gamma Gun: No longer uses charging damage without the charging mod attached.
  • Grenades: Floater grenades can now be traded and sold.
  • The Invader: No longer has two “No Upgrade” mod slots.
  • Pepper Shaker: Can no longer receive the explosive legendary mod.
  • Plasma Gatling: Addressed an issue where the Plasma Gatling would sometimes not recognize loaded Plasma Cote Ammunition after fast traveling or relogging.

World[]

  • Floaters: Sound of Floater’s attacks are no longer loud and distorted.
  • Vault 96: Players will no longer get stuck on top of a table inside Vault 96.
