Enredo[]
Waking Cloud é uma tribal dos Sorrows, e uma das primeiras convertidas de Daniel. Daniel salvou sua vida quando ela estava dando à luz seu terceiro filho e a ensinou como dar à luz corretamente. Ela então se tornou a parteira dos Sorrows e começou a aprender a fé mórmon de Daniel. Waking Cloud fala com um bom nível de inglês, indicando que ela está aprendendo há algum tempo.
Waking Cloud tem marido e três filhos, porém seu marido foi morto por um White Leg como um dos primeiros Sorrows a ser evacuado para Grand Staircase. Daniel sabe disso, mas escondeu de Waking Cloud, temendo a reação dela. Waking Cloud suspeita que algo está errado, mas confia em Daniel o suficiente para saber que ele não esconderia nada importante dela.
