Em 2052, um documentário televisivo revelava a seca de petróleo nos campos do Texas e revelou a profundidade da crise energética.
Antigo Texas[]
Pouco se sabe sobre o antigo estado do Texas depois da Grande Guerra. John Cassidy se perguntava se o Texas havia sobrevivido. Entretanto, Tycho é famosos por ter ido até o Golfo do México no Texas e voltar para o oeste. Após sua missão com o Chosen One se encerrar, Cassidy partiu a procura do Texas, passando ao sul pelo território NCR e depois de Dayglow.
