Enredo[]
Alice e Dusty, seu marido, são o sal da terra de Novac. Honestos, trabalhadores e casados há mais de 50 anos, eles viram muito do que a wasteland tem a oferecer.[1] Apesar disso, o amor deles é mais forte do que nunca, pois eles continuam a criar brahmins juntos em Novac e há anos antes de Novac ser tão grande quanto agora.[2] Eles geralmente ficam para si mesmos, para grande aborrecimento de Jeannie May Crawford, mas estão definidos em seus caminhos. Dusty é o homem encarregado das brahmins, enquanto Alice é especialista em processar sua carne em bifes comestíveis - Dusty brinca que é a coisa que o mantém ao lado dela - mas o negócio deles recentemente teve problemas. Nas últimas semanas, alguém tem matado suas brahmins todas as noites. Eles não os roubam, não os comem, eles apenas matam um brâmane a cada noite. Os McBrides estão no limite de seu juízo, especialmente porque eles estão reduzidos a metade de seu rebanho. Mais tempo e eles seriam negados um meio de vida.[3]

- One for My Baby: Alice é um dos vários moradores de Novac que podem ser culpados pela escravização de Carla Boone e trazidos para a frente do Dinossauro, levando Craig Boone a atirar e matá-la em um ato de vingança.
