Depois de trazer a ordem de volta à cidade de Primm, o Courier deve viajar para um local diferente e passar três dias sem visitar Primm. Uma vez que isso tenha sido feito, visite o Vikki and Vance Casino em Primm. Após cerca de 10 segundos, o Courier será abordado por Layla e seu bando de thugs, que ouviram que Primm está maduro para a colheita. Uma conversa com Layla irá revelar que eles são desertores da NCR impulsionados pelas noticias da crescente presença da Legião no outro lado do rio, e começaram a roubar depois de perder todo o seu dinheiro jogando. Existem três maneiras possíveis de se livrar deles:
Convencê-los que há lei de volta em Primm com uma habilidade de 30 em Speech.
Pague-os 100 caps (eles irão aceitar 50 caps se o jogador não possuir 100).
Lute contra eles.
Depois que eles se forem, o Vikki and Vance Casino irá abrir novamente e continuará funcionando como um cassino normal.

Durante a conversa, Layla menciona que ela e os outros desertores irão para New Canaan.
Terminar a quest sem o uso de violência fara com que o loot no casino se torne sem dono; assim, o levar não será considerado roubar.
