Paste Magazine har publisert en artikkel med en liste over de 20 beste spillene hele dette tiåret og rangerte Fallout 3 som det tredje beste. Dette plasserer spillet over blant annet Oblivion, World of Warcraft og Half-Life 2. De eneste spillene som fikk en høyere rangering var Bioshock med andre plass, og Portal med første.
