I found the crashed U.F.O. about halfway between Greener Pastures disposal site and Clifftop Shacks. The crash site is directly north of the MOPL-13 Power Station, which is North-Northwest of Minefield. Hope this helps. Kerek 05:07, 10 November 2008 (UTC)

the reference said the crash site was also part of Fallout 1. as we all know this is not true I changed it the way its gotta be.

The Alien Crash besides FO3 happens only in FO 1 in a Special Encounter (check it out). The only reference to Aliens in FO 2 is when related to the Wanamingos who were in fact genetically engineered animals. And in Skynet's dialog when it states that AI technology was brought through reverse engineering alien technology, but like most things that come from Sierra Army Depot is to be taken as non canon. The only "serious" mention of aliens in FO canon is in The BOS Citadel/Pentagon: one of the computers has archives about an alien crash back in 2066, which apparently the goverment failed to procure (or at least that's what the reports say). References to FO 2 Alien Crash should be corrected. It's in fact an United Federation of Planets Shuttle, a reference to Star Trek. Zorkins 17:12, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

Is this the UFO sighting mentioned on the Pentagon terminal in the Citadel (I forget what they called it in the entry, sorry), or was that referencing the crash site from before Fallout 3? Revelation-23 02:11, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
United Federation of Planets - were they blue skin aliens?--dotz 20:45, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
The ones in FO1 were "Grays" (your average stereotypical aliens) the ones in FO2's Federation Shuttle were Starfleet officers, identified as "redshirts", a reference to Star Trek's tendency to send said uniformed crew members to their gruesome deaths at the begining of the episode. The ones in FO3 are more a 40's & 50's "green men of Mars". The Blaster has a resemblance to most any alien gun in science fiction since the days of Flash Gordon and other 30's space operas. Zorkins 05:16, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

The page states the radius of the radio signal as 5,000 metres. Considering this'd probably be a good chunk of the Capitol Wasteland map area, shouldn't it be 500 metres? Ponk 14:05, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

Having some fun Edit

The alien is pretty lightweight, if you want to have some fun try grabbing it by its foot and throwing it around. Just be careful not to get sidetracked and die of rad poisoning. Schizmoooo 14:11, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

I would like to decorate my Megaton house with the alien, but I cannot figure out how to get it into Megaton, or the house for that matter. Has anybody figured out how to do this?192.188.205.106 11:32, 21 May 2009 (UTC)

Resurrect Edit

Wondering if you can resurrect the alien using the console. LOL --Voidvector 06:03, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

No, it is apparently an inanimate object; unlike the Super Mutant experiment failures in Vault WhatsItsNumber (which will shout SM taunts and be harmlessly hostile). resurrect + enable do nothing... or maybe our magic doesn't work on extraterrestrials ;) --Kaay 14:02, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
    • You're talking about Vault 87. I resurrected one of them too and if i shot at it (its body was on the ground but its "lifeforce" was in the doorway) my game would instantly crash so i got it in the corner of my screen, pressed console and disabled it.--Masta Pain 09:57, 26 April 2009 (UTC)

Weapon Skill Edit

"Although clearly an energy-based weapon, the Alien Blaster is used with the Small Guns skill, enabling most players to use it effectively."

I was under the impression it used Energy Weapons? --208.97.121.178 17:33, 4 December 2008 (UTC)

It is. (Edited to reflect further tests) Experiment: Small Guns 100, Energy Weapons 90, Alien Blaster Condition 100%. Alien Blaster DAM - 95. Equip Power Armor (Agility -2, thus Small Guns -4) Alien Blaster DAM - 95. Equip Tesla Armor (Energy Weapons +10), Alien Blaster DAM - 100. Conclusion: Alien Blaster is determined by the Energy Weapons skill, not the Small Guns skill.Fiddlesoup 03:31, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
Or you can use the Geck and see "Energy Weapons" against the "Skill" for the gun. –RpehTCE 11:56, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
You can also tell becuz, on the loading screen it says "the energy weapons skill effects the ALIEN blaster, mesmetron, plasma rifle, laser rifle, plasma pistol, and laser pistol" DUH!!! read people....-EoXPlatinumHaze

Reaching the site Edit

player.moveto 0008b164 wouldn't work for me unless I actually came near (within radio signal range) - moveto probably only works for things that are already loaded. --Kaay 14:02, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

More cells there?Edit

The Notes on the page say, "Also if you are to travel south from the spacecraft towards a factory in the distance then in a small clearing are a few cells of ammo for the weapon". I went south toward the "factory" (MDPL Power) even at night, but couldn't find any cells. Can anyone describe their location in more detail? -RedKnight7 21:58, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

I Randomly found cells on my way west from the republice of Dave to Old Olney, when i watched the repley i noticed a missle burst about 50-100 feet in the air and in front of me. when i checked the surrounding area i noticed power cells around (about 50 total) for the blaster, and i had not even got the blaster yet. So my guess is that when your close enough the the craft at night its a random event.

Right. Since no one's said anything more about this, nor is it mentioned on the Alien power cell page, I think that the sentence in this page's Notes should probably be removed - finding them by a Random encounter has already been mentioned on the page. It was probably just another coincidence for the player that put that there, that the Firelance encounter happened near the Crash Site.
As for what you experienced, I would not be certain there is a way to specifically trigger Firelance there, or I think it would have been mentioned before. It can only happen once, and most people triggered it somewhere else. I personally suspect you simply lucked out and had it happen near the crash - which is kinda cool. -RedKnight7 18:26, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

Exact same thing happened to me, but i researched the Firelance and found out it is a random encounter, but yes, i did find power cell ammo in this exact same place.. Britton 25:45, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

Ok, if more folks speak up, maybe there's some weighting to make it more likely to happen there (if it hasn't happened already, of course). Then again, only god knows how many hundreds of thousands are playing FO3 now, though. Was it at night, Britton? -RedKnight7 05:24, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

Well, actually I think it happened during the day, but i didnt notice, cuz i was on my way to the alien crash site and as i was heading there i noticed something small and blue on the ground, it was ammo for the alien blaster, but i didnt think anything of it, i just continued down the hill.. It wasnt till i was on the way back that i noticed there was a lot of ammo up on that hill, eventually i found the Firelance. But ya i was definitely surprised!! Britton 26:31, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

I found 14 cells around the entrance of Vault 106, and i don't doubt there's more...

Mars attacks reference? Edit

The first time I discovered the radio signal the first thing I thought of was the Tim Burton movie Mars Attacks! The aliens in the movie communicate using very similar gibberish. The alien's suit is also similar to what the aliens wear in Mars Attacks. I can't believe no one has mentioned this yet, am I the only one who thinks this?

  • This comment, as well as "The alien itself bares a striking resemblance to the character Cryptosporidium..." in the article show some ignorance of aliens in popular culture. The alien looks like Crypto and the M.A. aliens because that's what space aliens looked like in the 50s and 60s, and all three properties (Fallout included) are parodies of these time periods. The aliens are often called grays, even though many of them are green. It's the archetypal, big-headed and big-eyed alien, not some unique thing THQ, Tim Burton, or even Feargus Urquhart came up with.

Something to check out Edit

There is a PC in the A ring of the citedel, marked with the word "Pentagon" and then it's files or something... Anyway it has 3 case files of pre-war information. One of important note is "palandine" which seems to be about a UFO crash prior to the nukes. The ship however could not be found due to "the possible use of an advanced invisibility field". Is it possible the durring the many years between the war and the game the field went offline and we have now found the long lost palandine?

It seems unlikely at best. For one, the invisibility field would also have had to cover the house that's a good distance away that the ship crashed through, and (quite probably) the resulting fire and smoke. For another, the game gives the location of its first appearance on radar (just north of Hagerstown, Md) and says that it crashed in a "heavily wooded, non-residential area". Presumably, the prewar government had access to satellite photos (which, in combination with radar vectors and a last known location, would allow them to locate the site), and again, the resulting fire would probably have been a dead giveaway. As would the impact crater. For yet another, this spacecraft crashed in the suburbs of Washington, DC. While the US government of the FO universe is inept at many things, in this case, I think they could probably have handled it. Given that it would have almost literally crashed in their backyard. Not far from a major commuter corridor.
Unlikely at best. 99.6.39.6 22:50, May 9, 2010 (UTC)

BugsEdit

Can some one confirm that IF you grab the pistol/blaster then play with the body, as you pick up the cells/ammo some or all will FALL through the ground and you will not be able to pick them up. it hapend to me but i dont know why{happend on Xbox360 AFTER patch 13,01,09} --LexingtonDelta

Alien Blaster Enclave Tech? Edit

So I was walking away (South) from the crash site messing around with the body swinging around and what not... Then I ran into a scavenger, He kept yelling at me "Don't touch it, Don't Touch it" Then I talked to him and he told me to not touch that enclave technology that it's his... can anyone confirm? Kr3wlife 19:03, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Huh. Doesn't sound like anything on the Fallout 3 random encounters page. Anybody else seen this? BTW did you take a peek at what he's got on him? -RedKnight7 22:59, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
You mean the tech obsessed scavenger that pops up after the waters of life quest? You mean that one? Nope, never seen him. Ash Nuke AshRandom (Talk) 00:25, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
Well honestly I don't know it was weird. The alien didn't wasnt wearing anything of the enclave and also I don't know if it helps but there was a dead robobrain next to him and well a little bit after wandering of what was going on I kept playing with the body to see if it would make him mad and then he went hostile towards me :/ Kr3wlife 04:05, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
I could sort of follow that.... okay not really... Ash Nuke AshRandom (Talk) 19:36, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
It was weird but not as weird as getting like some of the three strongest weapons in the game haha. --Kr3wlife 21:42, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

Heres a completly odd tale for you, when on my way to the alien crash site, when i saw the firelance explosion, followed by plasma/laser shots, followed by two plasma explosions, when i arrived i found 4 eclave soliders and an officer,a dead scavenger, the firelance and alien blaster(both in each of the aliens hands,as if he had been dual wielding them) and 142 alien power cells, tlak about luck, cause i got a nice suit of enclave power armor, two of the most powerful weapons in the game, along with ammo, and a fat man and a mini nuke from the scavenger Werewolfhell 19:43, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

haha I don't know why I'm having a hard time believing that but I do. That's like super odd glitch. what platform are you using? --Kr3wlife 21:40, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

Xbox, although i play the PC mor ebecause of the console abilities and the mods Werewolfhell 16:18, 22 January 2009 (UTC) link title

UFO Random EncounterEdit

I think the encounter is more than just luck dependent, it's quite possibly level dependent too. At level 9 with ten luck I'm unable to get it to occur after 200 attempts in a random encounter location where I've received it before. Lowest level I've managed it so far is 14. Has anyone gotten it earlier than this? Looking for confirmation. (Xbox360, unpatched). Ash Nuke AshRandom (Talk) 06:33, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

Yes, i got it on level 7. Remember, it also depends on WHERE you get an encounter. Not all places have the same possibilities. --Acolyt3 16:00, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

I got it once on my way to Rivet City for the bobblehead. Was level 2, had 1 luck on this char. I was by the mined bridge and Anchorage Memorial. My dad got it in the exact same spot earlier today too.

I'm level 2 and I triggered the crash when I approached the SuperDuper Mart. Unfortunately, Raiders beat me to the Firelance and I got smoked with a headshot. My last save was on the hill behind the store so I decided to force the crash again. After 87 restores it happened again. I found a dead Chinese Soldier(ghoul)and 40 alien ammo... and no firelance. I am currently on my 112th attempt to force a third crash. I'll check back and give a final total. p.s. Interesting sidenote: One restore had the bus in the store parkinglot explode from stray fire. The next restore, the fire was burning even BEFORE the bus popped in! Not only that, GNR was playing two seperate songs at the same time. It happened the same way for the next three restores. I finally had to restart my Xbox to get it back to normal. weird.

I force the firelance to spawn just after i exit vault 101 now when i start a new game at the barn behind the vault after my first game spawned it somewhere and i didnt know what happened so it's now somewhere around on the map... It can take a while to do and make sure you don't save too close to it (a bit behind the big rock if you're coming from the bridge is about right i think) or you get stuck on that event. Just keep reloading until it appears. Rouge_sheep

The Alien is never alive Edit

Does anyone have a video or recording of the Recon Craft Theta Becon slowed down and reversed? i wanna see if it realy says that.--67.162.197.113 23:06, 11 June 2009 (UTC)joe Han Son

There's a Video on YouTube,

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ohV5mEPjjSc&feature=related

and most people think the alien says:

"space craft theta to mother ship zeta can you hear me,a enclave vertibird has shot me down, send help immediately."

I think that makes sense :\ -Treeminder Sprite

The Firelance Edit

The Firelance usually shows up at about midnight.Getting the Firelance depends on your luck, the higher your luck, the higher your chances are at finding the Firelance.Finding the Firelance is actually quite simple, just travel out in the middle of nowhere at about midnight, listen for random artillery noises, look up and you will see a green flash of light. The Firelance will fall in the area of the explosion along with some ammo.

"Random artillery noises" aren't so helpful as a guideline, particularly later in the game. I hear them repeatedly, I suspect largely due to random encounters popping up out of my line of sight. A very frequent one is Sentry Bot vs. Albino Radscorpion; if the Sentry Bot is armed with missiles, or there are cars in the vicinity, I'll get explosions. Earlier in the game I get the same results from Super Mutants. ShadowRanger 15:26, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

The Firelance is a random encounter, so it can happen in any of these places.--Master of cheeZ 16:25, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

Easter Egg, Faces Edit

If you look on the top of the hull on the craft there are two faces on looking like a snake and the other is just two glaring eyes. It freaked me out cause i was looking around the craft just screwing around at 12:00 at night in game and in real life and i saw the face and flipped.

Oh, yeah i went to the crash site to have some fun( just poped a bunch of rad x at disposal site why not go to a random irrardiated area?)so i started looking around for any lost power cells and i noticed the head of the alien was appearing then dissapearing i then possitioned my self in a manor so that i could see his face and i picked up a missing cell and looked back at him and he blinked and glared at me, i imediatly took out my blackhawkand put 6 rounds of .44 magnum into him.,scared the crap out of me.Lenov 12:52, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

I haven't checked to see if it's been done yet, but can someone get a picture of this?--Master of cheeZ 16:26, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

Mother Ship Zeta= More A.P.C.'s? Edit

Befor downloading Zeta add on, i reached the crash site and took the blaster and all ammo. Upon downloading Zeta a time afterwards upon reaching the site of the crash i saw more alien power cells. Knowing i would get beamed up if i got too close i had dogmeat collect 10 power cells, each containing 12 rounds, and a new alien blaster. Not sure if it works all the time

Can you still get the Alien Blaster after downloading Mothership Zeta? Because you get beamed up when you get too close, and(somewhat of a spoiler) when your on the Mothership, you see Theta get beamed up, Will the Alien Blaster and APC's still be there when the Recon Craft isn't?

Alien Blaster after Zeta? Edit

Anyone know if you can still get the Alien Blaster and APC's without/after Zeta beaming me up?

(Spoiler)

During the DLC's quests, you can see Theta get beamed up (So I'm guessing the Recon Craft won't be in the Capital Wasteland anymore). Will the weapon and ammo still be there lying on the ground?

Yes, it will. So will the alien. Unfortunately, The cells may fall though ground.

The Pilot corpse, blaster and powercells stay everything else is gone.

You can still get the Alien Blaster before MZ, instead of getting beamed up. Stand just outside the raditaion area and have Dogmeat search for ammo and weapons. You'll get the Blaster and cells and not get beamed aboard MZ (good if you want them and don't want to play through MZ yet).

I wonder how you manage to drag any followers including Dogmeat with you. They don't sneak and will alert all enemies in the vicinity on the way to the crashed alien ship. And you can't fast-travel to the alien ship, because you'll be teleported away before you even "discover" the location. It's much easier to alter the script that controls the abduction, adding a new condition, for example, let it check the player level, if player level is below 20, do not abduct (yet). Go then to the alien ship before you reach lvl 20 and collect the blaster and ammo. WRFan 22:16, November 17, 2009 (UTC)

When did it crash? Edit

I've been thinking about it, and I don't believe that recon craft theta crash landed very long ago. First of all, the alien pilot's body is still present (not a skeleton) which wouldn't make a lick of sense if the craft crashed more than a month or so before the PC finds it. Second, the ship crashed through a house, something the neighbors might just notice if this occurred before the bombs fell, certainly not "impossible to locate" as noted with the other downed alien craft code named "Paladin" by the US government, therefore they are NOT one in the same. I think it's MUCH MUCH more likely that the craft was investigating the "familiar" energy signature being produced by the tesla coil that relied on alien tech which was housed in Old Olney (after DLing broken steel of course). My guess is that the ship was launched from Mothership Zeta and was on its way to Old Olney, but crashed en-route. Most players found the craft before they knew of the tesla coil's existence, however the coil was in the Old Olney Powerworks since before the Great War, and it gives off a LOT of energy, which could easily peak the alien's interest. To me, this scenario seems to be the most likely, but what do you guys think?--DashMan54 17:40, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

It clearly wasn't Paladine (for the reasons you gave, plus the low probability of a ship spotted over Western MD crashing in D.C.'s inner suburbs). The rest of your theory is pure speculation; there's no particular reason for it to be true, but there's no reason it couldn't be true either. Given the existing history of UFO encounters without a clear purpose, there doesn't have to be any specific reason for the visit. If you like that theory, go with it. ShadowRanger 21:27, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
Granted, there is no "hard" evidence to back up my claim, but the circumstantial evidence is significant, particularly when you consider the crash-site's close proximity to Old Olney. I'd say it's more deductive reasoning then speculation (semantics), however as I said, there certainly isn't any hard evidence to back me up, there's no alien holotape stating theta's specific mission or anything of the sort. But I can say that it's definitely a more interesting story then, "Well, it must've just randomly fell from the sky". --DashMan54 13:45, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
If it was on its way to Old Olney, why is it facing the opposite direction? //--TehK (tok) 21:29, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
Maybe it went into a spiral before it crashed. And maybe the alien body could have survived 200+ years, if its suit was able to keep all bacteria out (not unreasonable), and wasn't damaged during the crash (hey, can YOU find any holes in it?) --Macros 23:27, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

The hands. Spoon 23:28, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

gg... but then it makes you wonder... why go through the trouble of hermetically sealing your spacesuit, including your helmet, and then leave such a critical flaw? And why bother with a helmet in the first place? The aliens obviously breathe oxygen like humans do, because neither you nor they asphyxiate onboard Mothership Zeta.
I guess the real answer here is Bethesda is great at contradicting themselves. --Macros 23:55, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
Not necessarily. The aliens on board MZ wear helmets, too, and employ suit encompassing shield technology. I see it two possible ways: one, the suit was a "crash suit" designed to protect the user in the unlikely event of loss of aircraft control, and the pilot never considered he'd need to wear the whole thing until it was too late; or, the recon craft didn't have an atmosphere (for whatever reason), and the alien needed to wear the suit in order to breath. In this scenario, the force of the crash (and his probable death grip on the flight controls) ripped the gloves from his hands in the impact. It doesn't seem unreasonable... I've seen it happen in car crashes, and the force necessary to crack the "windshield" of a spacecraft must be immense indeed.

That 'gg' there makes me paranoid. Spoon 00:08, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

The ship could have easily spiralled off course and ended up facing the wrong way, or maybe it simply over-shot Old Olney and continued past it on its way to the crash-site. But as for the body remaining intact for 200 years? Frankly, that's impossible (unless it was frozen for the duration, which it obviously wasn't) because while a completely sealed spacesuit (even though this one technically wasn't) would keep out bacteria and what-not, in all vertebrates there are what are called "commensal" bacteria which reside within the digestive tract (along with other places in and on the body). These microbes would've made short work of the body, even if the spacesuit was devoid of oxygen (many bacteria do not need oxygen to survive). And we can be reasonably sure the aliens posses such bacteria, otherwise their "Abominations" (half human, half alien hybrids) would likely either be keeling over from severe chronic internal infections or keeling over from malnutrition depending on their actual "birth" conditions. I could continue, but I won't, enough rambling. I just like reading into things I suppose. --DashMan54 16:46, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

Why so many text was deleted? Edit

Why you've deleted so many good text and useful tips?

I have to agree. While Locating the Site was probably too long, removing all information on finding the site makes it much harder to find, particularly for players without Mothership Zeta. -ShadowRanger 13:39, September 16, 2009 (UTC)

Crashing Edit

I try to approach it and the game crashes. I updated to 1.7(i'm on pc) and it still crashes when I approach the crashed alien site. Any help? -insane If your gonna talk, TALK! 21:32, September 13, 2009 (UTC)

same thing happened to me. i was using a no cd crack and was listening the the theta alien radio station and the game kept freezing didnt know why. I then used the game cd and turned off the radio, then i was able to find the site without the game crashing. Turning off the radio seems to work best because after i arrived at the site, i turned my radio on and the game immediately crashed on me. hope this helps!

Before even reading the second (unsigned) comment I would've said something about the radio being the cause. ThePog 09:19, January 12, 2010 (UTC)

Another crash site? Edit

This is driving me nuts. The first time I played Fallout 3 I seem to remember there being a (much smaller) UFO crash site somewhere on the eastern half of the map; there was an Enclave outpost nearby after Waters of Life, except it was further up the hill- the UFO itself was at the bottom of the hill, like it had tumbled down a bit, and was near a dirt path, somewhere just north or possibly slightly northeast of DC. It was nowhere near the one by Olney. It actually resembled in some ways the UFO in the Fallout 1 special encounter. There was a dead body by it as well, as well as an alien blaster and some APCs. I swear it was there, because I recall visiting it at least twice, once before and once after the Enclave arrived. I didn't have any DLC installed at the time. Did I hallucinate this, or is my memory failing in my old age? Dethtoll 22:52, April 6, 2010 (UTC) (whoops forgot to log in)

Destroy all humans? Edit

"Recon Craft Theta is supposed to resemble the UFO used by Krypto in the game franchise Destroy All Humans it has been confirmed on the official Bethesda forums that this is because the lead map designer for Fallout 3 was also the head graphic artist on Destroy All Humans"

Anyone have a source for this? I looked for the post on bethesda's forums but couldn't find it. Wickedjacob 08:48, July 8, 2010 (UTC)

I think it may be possible to obtain two alien blasters form the recon craft theta crash site if you have Mothership Zeta. Maybe if you ask dogmeat to go get it for you BEFORE boarding Zeta, it may also be at the new site of the body AFTER Mothership Zeta. I beleive this because the pilot's location, the blaster, and the APC's all move. Although this is probably not so, It's worth trying.

Availability? Edit

The article doesn't mention whether or not this is an event or placed created by an add-on, namely, Mothership Zeta. Can it be confirmed that this location, along with the Alien Blaster obtained from it, IS included in Fallout 3 WITHOUT said DLC? 24.110.27.221 19:03, August 7, 2010 (UTC)

Yes, it's there without Mothership Zeta. However, Mothership Zeta does alter this location. Kris (talk) 19:04, August 7, 2010 (UTC)

video Edit

so someone put in an orchadia video for finding it, which is good, the orchadia vids are top quality, however someone changed it to what i can only assume to be their own, rather bad, version of the same thing, so now there is no video in the page, and I cant figure out how to put in the orcadia vid, could someone do this? --Katikar 13:50, October 5, 2010 (UTC)

Got it fixed. Thanks for pointing it out. --Kris User Hola 13:57, October 5, 2010 (UTC)

Alien Spaceship Wreck in Fallout 2 Edit

In previous games there was a unique location which could only be found by accident - Alien Spaceship Wreck. You would find a unique laser weapon there along with some interesting scenery. The information in this article relating to the other series is wrong and should be changed

You mean the Federation Crash Site Star Trek spoof special encounter? Yeah, I guess some kinda disambig could be placed on top of the article, linking to other spaceship crashes in the game series (I think there's a crashed saucer in the original Fallout as well). Anyone else thinks this way? --TheBearPaw 12:35, January 19, 2011 (UTC)

108 APCs and no blaster Edit

So, I went through Mothership Zeta as Dogmeat wasn't at Scrapyard or the listed minor areas that he can appear at. After I completed it, the blaster and one dozen cells were missing. Does anyone have any clue as to what NPC took them? I am not knowledgeable of the surrounding area. If anyone could offer advice, I'd be grateful. I really don't want to have to go through Broken Steel's story to get the other blaster.

Well, it depends. There are certain patrol points nearby I think, maybe a hostile NPC picked up the weapon during a firefight. Do you recall engaging combat anywhere near this location prior to or upon completion of the DLC?
