Background[]
The comic books relate the adventures of the titular character in a prehistoric world. There were at least fourteen issues of the comic book. The fourteenth issue is titled "In the Lair of the Virgin Eater". Each issue cost $.25 retail. Many of these books were badly damaged or destroyed by the Great War of 2077. An intact copy, with no missing pages, is considered very rare. These comic books are read in the Vault-Tec Vaults. The price for a copy is 23 dollars.
An image of the fourteenth issue of this comic book series is copied onto a slide for the Vault Dweller's Survival Guide. The slide's identifying number is VDSG Plate #188-63.
On July 13, 2268, Amata Almodovar discovers an intact Issue 14 in her father's box of old things. In recalling this story to her best friend, the Lone Wanderer, Amata expressed wonder that her father had ever been their age and that he had read comic books. She gave this comic book to the Lone Wanderer at their tenth birthday party in Vault 101's Cafeteria.
