Il existe plusieurs armes uniques dans Fallout 4, armes qui existent uniquement dans le monde du jeu. Certaines sont trouvées dans des lieux spécifiques tandis que d'autres sont obtenues en tant que récompenses de quête.
Ces armes sont différentes des armes légendaires qui sont générées aléatoirement en fonction d'un tableau d'effets possibles. Certaines armes uniques possèdent également des effets légendaires sans en avoir le régulier préfixe d'arme légendaire (par exemple "assassin", "chasseur", "tueur de goules").
Relativement peu d'armes uniques dans Fallout 4 sont actuellement des "modèle de base" uniques avec des effets ou apparences également uniques,comme le Broadsider ou le Alien blaster pistol; la plupart sont à la place des armes "normales" qui auraient pu, de façon fonctionnelle, se dupliquer de façon aléatoire à partir d'un ennemi légendaire, comme le Pistolet de Kellogg est une version renommée du .44 pistol garanti de tomber avec l'effet légendaire "Relentless", et le Bull barrel, receiver standard, comfort grip, une lunette et des mods standars attachés.
