Hello, this is for a Courier/Yes Man Dictatorship in the Yes Man Ending in FNV, well yes man was always my favorite and I wanted to make this well tell me what you guys think, It describes the short term immediately after the events in the game, not the long-term afterwards, and the courier is a dictator in this yes
The Second Battle of Hoover Dam is over. The Courier, with his army, has seized the dam and taken it for the new independent Mojave, and has kicked both the NCR and Legion out of the region. With the upgraded securitron army, the courier goes and eliminates threats all across the Mojave, not already dealt with:
The Powder Gangers are annihilated
The fiends exterminated
The Great Kahns destroyed themselves by attacking the NCR during the battle and no longer exist in Red Rock Canyon
The Brotherhood of Steel as an entity no longer exists within the Mojave Wasteland
All crime and unrest within Freeside, Westside, North Vegas, The Strip, Primm, and other areas has been put down.
All animal threats (Deathclaws mostly) have been put down, at range.
Minor gangs, such as escaped convicts, jackals, vipers, ghouls, Van Graffs, and others, have been exterminated.
Westside, North Vegas, Freeside, and other small communities surrounding the strip are annexed into New Vegas as officially part of the city, though the wall between them and the strip remains, for the time being.m
The NCR has been rerouted from HELIOS ONE and driven back to the Mojave Outpost, and no longer exists as an entity within the Mojave wasteland. McCarran (their main military base in the Mojave) has been repurposed as a base for the new independent army. A perimeter around Boomer Territory has been set up in gratitude for their assistance during the second battle, and no outsiders are allowed in without the Boomer's consent. The Courier's next orders are that all prior operations in the strip are to continue indefinitely until further notice. That means the casinos proceed as normally, and water and power continue to be pumped to Vegas. The Sharecropper Farms are repurposed as Farms for Feeding New Vegas, while violence and raiders continue to be mopped up around the Mojave.
The Courier then declares to the Mojave that all resistance will be put down, with force if necessary, and that he has no intention of becoming a tyrant, but that if they follow him, life will be far greater than before. The courier's next orders are to create a workforce by hiring the people in Freeside to clean up the area by removing rubble, and then hires the workers at Sloan to continue quarry work. With the deathclaws annihilated, work at the quarry resumes, and the trains and equipment are restored. In order to supply these workers, the Courier has supply caravans set up in New Vegas to supply these towns with food and water, while caps are much more easily.
With a supply of food and water set up, the courier exploits and assembles routes through the I-15 and turns it as a major backbone in the logistics of the new government. (The Deathclaws have been annihilated) The caravan routes go through to feed the workers of Sloan, who mine quarry for rebuilding in Free side, then further down south following the courier. The courier stops by the old prison and has it cleaned up “for future use.” The route then carries down to Goodsprings, which contains valuable spring water, and a water plant is installed there in the area to supply it with water, reducing pressure for water to be brought down all the way from lake Mead in New Vegas. Goodsprings becomes "A Water Town."
The courier then continues down to Primm and meets with Meyers and makes clear the new world. Although the purpose of Primm is unknown as of yet, it will not be forgotten, and for now serves as a rest point and additional casino town, with the supply caravans stopping by both it and Goodsprings. The courier then continues down to the Mojave Outpost there, and orders the border be reinforced, then he and his army make their way to Nipton where it is declared safe, and the town is reopened. The courier then declares that all rubble is to be removed and that it will be inhabited again. In Freeside, all violence is put down, so any thugs who are still stuck in the old ways and believe they can take advantage of people are promptly shot. With much of the rubble being removed, building can take place, and the people of Free side are given employment by the Courier and his government. The Followers and their fort, encouraged by the courier to stay in Freeside, effectively become a hospital in the area, and are supplied by the courier with whatever they need. With securitron guards, little violence takes place, and all is ended, quickly. There is no room for chaos In this new world. Elsewhere, the courier declares Camp Searchlight a "No entrance" zone, and makes for Black Mountain, annihilates the super mutants there, and reopens it for the new government as a radio/military base and communications headquarters for the area, establishing communications all across the Mojave for his government.
The borders for this new nation have been drawn. They extend to the mountain ranges in the north and west, with the Mojave outpost in the far southwest serving as a border checkpoint, to the smaller southern mountain range, and push to the Colorado River on the east, then to the northeast mountain range. All territory within is declared territory of the New Mojave Government.
Freedom has been proven to be the most effective way of increasing a nation’s wealth and economic status, and because of this the courier takes measures to make his nation freer. The following rights are declared in the new constitution to every citizen of the Mojave
-the right to Freedom of Speech (the courier has no concern with dissent, as he is fully confident in his ability to defeat any opponents)
-the right to bear arms (see above)
-the right to work (People are not forced to work, but will be given a job if they ask)
Under this new system, the courier allows people to work for whom they choose, and for the free market to exist, for private property to exist, and more. The courier makes a move and nationalizes most land in the Mojave and federalizes some of it, including roads and towns, but makes a business selling land to companies and businesses in order to encourage investment and development. Casino families on the strip attempt to take advantage of this and bribe the courier, but the courier after all they have been through (Divide, Sierra Madre, Big MT, and in the tribal war in Zion and war in the Mojave) has no patience for corruption, and instead sells to smaller buyers to encourage development. The Omertas attempt to asassinate the courier via trying to flood the Lucky 38 with chlorine gas, fail, and are annihilated as a result. Meanwhile, on the eastern side, a number of mines are reopened, their dangers inside exterminated. Jobs continually open, rapidly open. There are more job openings then there are people. Miner for hire, rubble remover for hire, construction worker, soldier, and many others, not including the private jobs. Continuing on the east side of the region, the courier meets the people in Novac and makes clear to them the new world and their role, and continues onto HELIOS ONE and reopens it as a power plant in the area, supplying Novac, Boulder City, Forlorn Hope, Nelson, and others with additional power.
Military possibilities and technology are also explored at HELIOS ONE, and a new water plant is opened up alongside the colorado at Cottonwood Cove to supply those towns with water and ease pressure on caravans, while food continues down from New Vegas in the sharecropper farms. Cottonwood cove, due to its proximity to the river, is very good, but must pass through searchlight, which is irradiated. This causes irriration among the courier and his government. To solve this, water is pumped up the cliffside from cottonwood cove and to the mentioned settlements, while cottonwood cove also builds as a military base to watch for any legion military activity.
The sharecropper farms are large, but they are only a few. The courier is lucky many towns are already independent in food and water, but that may not last. To solve this, the courier then takes his army to vault 22, and seizes the information there on crop growth, using it to improve the sharecropper farms, as well as to set up many additional farms, reinforcing them in Goodsprings, Nipton, Boulder City, and others. Agricultural production doubles in size, and Goodsprings, Nipton, Boulder City, and Bonne Springs all develop farmland and increase the agricultural output.
After the agricultural production increases in size, another right is added to the constitution: “The individual has a right to be delivered the necessities for his/her physical survival at free of charge.” (Meaning the individual has a right to the physical needs necessary for survival, such as food and water.)
In New Vegas, with the violence annihilated, martial law is lifted there, and the new laws are as follows:
For the crime of murder: Death/20yrs
For the crime of grape: Death/60 yrs
For the crime of human trafficking: Death/40 yrs
For the crime of conspiracy against the courier and his government:
-For Leaders: Death/30yrs
-For assistants and cooperators: 5-30 yrs in prison
For the crime of theft: 2-10 yrs in Prison For the crime of Fraud: 4-10 yrs in Prison
For the crime of treason: 10 yrs in Prison
Prisoners will be taken to the former NCRCF, now New Mojave Government Correctional Facility, or NMGCF
The purpose of Novac is found. It will serve as a mining town and as storage for nearby mines. With the quarries and mines now open, mines on the eastern side of the region now store their material at Novac, and the material is then stored for future use until further refineries and factories can be opened. However, the number of jobs rapidly outpaces the number of people, and there simply aren't enough to fulfill the demand. For this reason, some facilities begin to be automated. One such example is the reopening of the Sunset Sarasparilla Bottling Plant, now being used for the manufacturing of Bottled Water for easier distribution. The factory is automated entirely. The Steel Works Plant near New Vegas is also reopened and is automated as well, and the production is put into upgrading the courier’s military, making the securitrons leaner, slightly weaker, but more agile and capable. The rocket launchers the House gave them were effective, but overkill, and most securitrons instead have them replaced with heavy-duty machine guns. Due to multiple facilities being automated, the courier assures his people that they will not be replaced and announces plans for AI rights once the population grows, which would nullify fears of automation. The population, having been around robots for a long time, has a neutral reaction to this news.
The courier has been very successful, but he is only one man. Yes Man is there, but Yes Man only performs the day-to-day maintenance, routines and automation of the state, and would not be able to do what the courier did. The courier's government has at this point consisted of himself, Yes Man, the vast army of securitrons, allies to him, and a few humans. Now is the time to begin forming the government, and to start, he begins appointing leaders to areas to take care of them.
-In Goodsprings, he assigns Trudy as Mayor. Trudy is loved in the town and will do very well
-In Primm, he assigns Meyers as Mayor. Meyers is a badcop and may be hard, but he is also a home man and will take care of the people.
-In Novac, he assigns Cliff Briscoe as Mayor. Cliff is inexperienced and will need help, but has a good heart and will be liked by the Novac people
-In Nipton, with Mayor Stein burned alive by the legion months before, a new mayor must be chosen, for a new Nipton. A person named Paul is made mayor, and Mayor Paul is also inexperienced, but these things must start somewhere.
-In Bonne Springs, a woman named Missie is made Mayor.
-In Boulder City, some NCR Troopers were abandoned by their superiors in the retreat from the area. These troopers are granted amnesty by the new government and Private Kowalski is made Mayor.
-After a long time of deliberation, Swank from the Tops is made the Mayor of New Vegas, partly out of gratitude against Benny, and for his leadership experience in managing the Tops
-Julie Farkas, leader of the Followers of the Apocalypse in New Vegas, is made director of health in the Mojave and is given more resources. The Followers are also gifted Vault 3 to serve as a Hospital and base of operations for them
End of Part 1, well what do you guys think?
