So the minutemen claim to be defenders of settlements but it appears that they have some sort of government and influence so, to y’all what form of government do the minutemen have? Are they just defenders or an actual technical government, i mean, they were somewhat responsible for the Commonwealth Provisional Government right? I might just be making this all up RN though. @TheNaughtyUncle The thing that separates them from raiders is that they don’t raid or pillage or kill. They try to find solutions to problems without fucking killing people.

Does anyone else find the free states to be an interesting concept? I feel like they’re kind of slept upon, and i mean, seeing how the fallout world is I’m surprised there aren’t more secessionist movements. I think that an anarchist group that tries to survive via improvised means is a neat idea. My only issue is how disorganized they were, although that isn’t 100% a problem since that means they aren’t reliant on each other when problems arise in the faction. All this to say, does anyone else like the free states? I think they’re my favorite fo76 faction, maybe tied with the responders.
What if in some sort of Fallout: Florida story was like, due to all the political and economic issues of the world, people are driven to do stupid and straight up insane things (as a reference to florida man), and many of these crazy people were imprisoned and experimented on, creating new mutants that take over The Peninsulan Commonwealth in the future. You are a survivor, taken by these mutants in an attempt to create a new one. After escaping you work with a faction of your choice to attempt to destroy the insane mutants and prevent the further use of these experiments.

I chose the railroad because my character is supposed to be the merc type so she doesn’t want to get too involved with roles and politics etc etc. so she works as an agent for the railroad. And honestly she could care less about if synths are people, if they’re anything like that guard in River City she met 10 years ago she’s sure they’re at least half decent folk. Plus, the railroad keeps out of her main work of combating hostile groups so she always has plenty of work and payment.
Raider power armor or t60 for me. I think the t45 and t60 look better than t51 and raider is a unique look that feels like something fallout would do earlier, power armor is so rare that survivors are patching up empty frames and old broken pieces with old steel.
Brotherhood in literally any other game: This toaster could burn you so it’s mine now because I know how to use it 100% properly (this man will burn his fingers in about 2 minutes with said toaster)
