I've uploaded some of these, but I still have more, and the older versions I uploaded are outdated. Here are all of the factions I have so far.
The Ironhearted (Semi-Major)
The Ironhearted are a group of generation 2.5 (think Nick Valentine/DiMA) and gen 3 Synths that escaped the slavery of the Midwestern Institute, and set up shop in an abandoned military bunker. They became a faction in their own right, dubbing themselves the Ironhearted due to their own perseverance. Inside their territory they work as a fully self-sufficient society, accepting escaped Synths, refugees, and even changed Institute scientists with open arms, so long as they are able to contribute.
They will frequently send scouts and raiding parties to scavenge weaponry, armor, supplies, and robotic parts. These parties are also, as the name implies, sent to pillage and raze places that the Institute and Rust Devils have power and influence over by utilizing guerrilla warfare, baiting enemies with smaller groups of robots, and taking people down with snipers and explosives, utilizing weapons such as Hunting Rifles, Crossbows, Gauss Rifles, Sunbeam Laser Rifles, Laser Muskets, and Grenade Launchers. They also send robots and soldiers as reinforcements for factions they ally themselves with, such as the Rangers.
For their main sources of outside income, the Ironhearted craft weapons and armor and sell and trade them to other factions, such as the Rangers, the Bleeding Ghosts, the Steel Wolves, (the Rangers are unaware of their deals with such raider groups) and caravan companies. They also sometimes cook and sell chems, since they have quite a few chemists among their ranks.
They get most of their parts for robotics from old robotics factories and scrapyards, as well as aforementioned victories against the Institute and Rust Devils, trading with other groups and prospectors and rarely, scavenged parts from the remnants of the Calculator's army. They use these parts, such as scrap metal and electronics, Synth components, conductors, circuit boards, biometric scanners, fission batteries, pilot lights if they have incendiary aspects, and sensor modules to create their own cybernetic soldiers. The robots they create are usually split into two main groups: Steel Skeletons and Chimeras. Steel Skeletons are essentially rudimentary Synths made of metal, robot repair kits, Synth components and scrap electronics, and are used to bolster numbers in combat and physical labor. Chimeras are much larger combat robots made of many robots essentially welded together, made of numerous miscellaneous parts and even other robots.
The Ironhearted are consummate scavengers, and extremely resourceful when it comes to creating pipe weapons and jury-rigging laser and plasma weapons, to the point that many will pay or do favors for them just to be able to learn about how they create the technology they use. Although these creations appear ramshackle in nature, they are very well-made and stay together for a long time. This doesn’t necessarily mean that they only use homemade weapons, but will also buy or scavenge better weapons from other people like the Gun Runners and defeated enemies.
The bitter hatred that exists between the Ironhearted and Rust Devils dates back to nearly immediately after the Rust Devils arrived in the Midwest, where a Rust Devil party found the Ironhearted, and came back with larger numbers, in an attempt to enslave the Ironhearted. At the time, the Ironhearted was very low on supplies, weaponry, and people able to fight. Somehow, against all odds, the Ironhearted prevailed against the Rust Devils, and this became one of their greatest prides, and this is shown even in the name they gave this battle, “The Iron Triumph”.
Faction Relations
Allies:
The Rangers: They respect and share the Rangers’ vision for a united Iowa, though they still wish for their own autonomy under it. The Bleeding Ghosts: The relationship between the Ironhearted and the Bleeding Ghosts is an extremely simple business one, based on the Ironhearted’s engineers and mechanics repairing their weaponry. The Steel Wolves: Far beyond the simple business relationship the Ironhearted have with the Bleeding Ghosts, the Ironhearted have extreme respect for the Steel Wolves’ ability to survive in the Wasteland.
Neutral:
Enemies:
The Rust Devils: The hate between the Ironhearted and the Rust Devils run deep, since their first interaction involved the Rust Devils trying to enslave them. To this day, the two will shoot each other on sight. Caesar’s Legion:
The Rust Devils (Semi-Major)
After their defeat at the hands of the Sole Survivor during the events of Automatron, they knew that the Commonwealth was not a place where that would take kindly to their raids, and so they decided that a migration would be in order. And so, they decided to leave the Commonwealth. But then the question remained: Where would they go? But around that time, some of the leadership of the Rust Devils heard tell of the remnants of the Calculator’s army, which has spread far and wide, but the farthest East it has been found is in Iowa. And so, they had their destination. Using the last of their power, they built up as many robots and prepared as much weaponry as possible. With their firepower, they launched an assault on the Brotherhood, and seized a dozen Vertibirds from them. They also scavenged some cars and stuffed both full of as much armor, weaponry, supplies and robots (both theirs and the Mechanist’s) as possible and left the Commonwealth in search of greener pastures. They eventually settled in the Camp Dodge base and wiped out its former inhabitants, the Dead Men, another raider gang. The reason they settled here is threefold: Its security, since a military base is pretty easy to defend, but also its proximity to the ruins of Des Moines, a prime ground for scavenging, and, the reason they settled there in the first place: the Calculator’s army. The Rust Devils are indomitable when it comes to finding and hacking the Calculator’s robots, especially the more powerful ones, such as the Security, Humanoid, Pacification, and Behemoth robots.
The Postmen (Semi-Major)
The Postmen is a large network of couriers, scouts, prospectors, messengers, spies and even assassins set up shortly after the Great War, when communication between larger areas was near-impossible. The remnants of the USPS rose to the occasion, with the majority of the post offices in the state being relatively undamaged by the War, and as such served as trading posts and stations, as well as setting a general map for people going through the Iowan Wasteland.
The USPS, now calling themselves the Postmen, quickly adapted to the lifestyle of scavenging and cobbling things together in the wastes, however, they always wear a USPS hat in order to identify anyone looking for someone to deliver something. They can also be easily identified by raiders and other malicious individuals, so it’s a pretty safe bet to assume that any solitary Postman is probably armed to the teeth and combat-capable.
The Rangers (Major)
The Rangers were founded by survivalists and anarchists shortly after the bombs dropped, with their flag first flying in 2095. They were created with the ideals of survival and protecting people in the Wasteland, taking in new members from simple Wastelanders, and teaching them survival and combat skills. They’re suspicious of ghouls and super mutants, but those that prove their worth to them they’ll let in. Their modus operandi is to set up outposts in both pre and post-War locations (such as gas stations), scavenge anything of use, eliminate any possible threats (such as feral ghouls, raiders, and hostile mutants), and fortify the location. Their most well-known equipment is combat armor, gas masks, combat knives, trail carbines, battle rifles, hunting revolvers, and brush guns. Their organization consists of three groups: The Rangers, their main and best combatants, who get the best of their equipment, The Medics, who are the designated doctors and healers of their faction, and the Trailblazers, who are their scouts and scavengers, many of whom were once simple prospectors, who dedicate themselves to finding useful things such as supplies and loot caches in the Wastes. Rangers, Medics, and Trailblazers are all afforded high levels of respect in the faction, and the average Ranger parties typically consist of two Rangers, two Trailblazers, and a Medic, whereas an average Ranger hit squad consists of four high-ranking Rangers and a high-ranking Medic. Though they are known to have a military-like structure, among their own, they are very relaxed and have a very strong sense of comradery, smoking weed, drinking, and playing cards together, as well indulging in less harmful chems such as DayTripper and Daddy-O.

Steel Wolves (Semi-Major)
The Steel Wolves are a gang that have existed for a very long time, at least in some form. They existed in their first form as a simple group of scavengers who did anything they could do to survive in the Wasteland. They rose up from the pre-War city of Clive, Iowa. However, they stopped being regular scavengers when a man named Greyson came along. Before the War, he was just a simple mechanic for the Red Rocket. But his mechanical know-how led to him being the catalyst for something much bigger than himself. One day, he found a military cache of power armor and energy weapons, and this was the day that they ceased being a simple force of scavengers and began to be a veritable powerhouse in the early Wasteland. However, they began raiding and pillaging other groups of survivors, which Greyson partook in, albeit reluctantly. Eventually, Greyson thought that the blood on his hands was too much to bear, and fled the group. After a brief period of chaos with no leader, they rose again, under the leadership of their most powerful member from before Greyson left, named Ironfang. They decided to make it so that people could challenge the current Ironfang and become the newer one. Over the years, they embraced the brutality of the Wasteland and fortified Clive into the Iron Den, a fortified complex deep within the city, surrounded by a network of watchtowers, barricades and traps.
