I decided to try to invent a challenge for Fallout. Not any challenge mind you, but a challenge so mind bogglingly hard it would make even the most experienced veteran throw their controller in rage. I call it the "Underqualified challenge", with this iteration being for Fallout 3. It's rules are as follows.
First, a player must set the games difficulty to it's highest setting.
Second, the player must set all their characters SPECIAL stats to one, and cannot use Vault-Tec bobble heads or any other items that alter SPECIAL stats.
Third, the player cannot invest any points gained when levelling up into anything other than "Unarmed", and cannot pick up and use any magazines or items that alter skills.
Fourth, the player must always have their weight load at 0 KG, meaning they cannot pick up any items in the game (THIS INCLUDES MEDICAL SUPPLIES) other than those which are essential to beating the main questline.
Fifth, an extension of the fourth rule, the player cannot use any other weapons other than their fists, explaining rule three nor can they use any armor for protection.
Sixth, while saving is allowed, the player can only create Five saves throughout their playthrough.
These are the specific details of the challenge for Fallout 3 however, and the challenges rules will vary wildly depending on each game and it's respective gameplay.
