@Wytchfynder If it weren't possible to replace Father and Justin Ayo, who are the Institute's two worst leaders, I wouldn't put them in A tier.
Neither. They're both terrible.
@Richie9999 The oil rig had enough firepower to blow a tanker out of the water. And it was ~180 miles off the coast. fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Enclave_Oil_Rig#Defenses
Additionally, the Enclave present in the Capital Wasteland in 2277 were capable of launching orbital strikes, one of which destroyed Liberty Prime.
Big MT has got Securitron Mk VIs and Robo-scorpions. Basically, they're New Vegas on steroids.
Firepower, manpower, technological advancement and resources.
The player character can destroy any one of these factions.
1. The Enclave (2238-2242)
2. Big Mountain / The Think Tank
3. New California Republic
4. The Institute
5. Brotherhood of Steel (East Coast)
6. New Vegas / Three Families
7. Caesar's Legion
8. Boomers
9. Brotherhood of Steel (West Coast & Mojave)
10. Followers of the Apocalypse

@Hauganz They're Roman Empire wannabes.
@Hauganz Caesar's Legion are basically cosplaying raiders with ancient technology.

4. New California Republic
5. Brotherhood of Steel
6. Minutemen

@Paladin117 Yes, Mama Murphy is vague and what she says is up to interpretation.
She concludes by saying "...You will not be loved, but you will have saved humanity. However you choose to define it."
That right there among other parts of what she has said can be interpreted as either endorsing or opposing the Institute.
@Paladin117 There is a decent degree of subjectivity to my kind of argument. It is my interpretation of things that do actually happen in the game. You, however, are making up nonsense that is just plain factually and objectively incorrect.
@Paladin117 Please go do an Institute playthrough without joining the BoS. I am laughing so hard at how wrong you are right now.
@Paladin117 No, she doesn't. That's only when you do a Brotherhood playthrough and recruit her to the Brotherhood.
@Rickie9999 From everything I have heard from Institute scientists and the simple fact that they are scientists as opposed to religious fanatics, a good Sole Survivor would not be strongly opposed, it will be opposed, but not strongly. The only people I see opposing it is the SRB and maybe a handful of other scientists. The rest would be either neutral or in support of it, at least one of them being a directorate member / division head, Dr. Li.
@Richie9999 And what about what Preston Garvey has said? And the Institute's radio broadcast? Those parts of my argument have not yet been addressed.
@Paladin117 Mama Murphy speaks quite vaguely, what she says about the Institute ending can be interpreted as both endorsing or opposing it.
