It is truly FORUM SZN y’all! As I’m sure you all know, we’ve had a few trial /d mods (Discussion Daddies, as I like to call them) around lately - and they have all been doing great! I’m happy to announce today that @The Paddling Paladin had decided to apply for the position full time! Paladin is a stand up guy, and has personally helped me with my build for 76 as well as with launching my first nuke in the game. He is patient, explains things clearly, and fun to be around - I can’t recommend him enough. Check out his forum here and show Paladin some love!

I don’t think it’s right to charge in and outright genocide them. Much like raiders groups, I think they are a conundrum best dealt with on a case-by-case basis. Are they part of a mutant group that’s violent? Is it a singular mutant suicide? Etc, because, like you said, there are definitely mutants out there that are friendly.
That said, I do also think the life of super mutants is a bit of a cursed one, since they were once people who have since forgotten their past, essentially. A few mods have attempted to explore this “loss of humanity” aspect… though for the most part it has been pretty cringe, not gonna lie. I do hope it’s something the actual dabs touch in a bit more in future games since we have seen people like Virgil who seem to tie into this idea a bit.
It also depends on what about the game you can’t seem to get past (for a lot of people, it’s being forced into the parent role). If this is the case, I would recommend ignoring the main quest lines as much as possible, and heading to Far Harbor or Nuka~Workd as fast as you can. The main quest can mostly be ignored for those DLCs, and the environments are really fun to walk around as well imo.
Depends on the play through, but I usually just get about 10 of my faves. Always always get Outpost Zimonja and Hangman’s Alley, usually have a “scrapable everything” mod that allows me to rebuild the structures there in a way that I like.

Across all platforms? I want to say around 2,000 hours or so. I’m not the biggest gamer 👾 so this is a pretty high number for me.
