Converted munitions factory at the start of every session - I burn through 5.56 like no one's business and no one is ever selling it in the vending machines (or else I'd just buy it). If someone already has it claimed, I just hop world, not worth the effort to contest.
^^ Wish I had something useful that used 5mm. Bandolier reduces the weight to effectively zero so I'm just swanning about with 20k 5mm in my inventory.
I vote for CamelChip.
The wiki probably wouldn't be in half as good a shape on the FO76 front without his contributions, especially with the ongoing nature of the release.
Being a /d-powered awards year, I expect the editors will get a bit less attention but I wanna give props to all the folks (especially the nominated ones) that keep our pages filled with information even as Bethesda actively fights against us with every new update. This content mod loves you all and appreciates all the effort you've gone to this past year - keep up the good work! <3 <3
Congrats to all the nominees!
You can 100% bring Maccas into cinemas in Australia, just gotta be somewhat subtle about it. As long as it doesn't enter the staff member's eye line when they're scanning your tickets you're good cos none of them are paid enough to care.
Fav snack is peanut M&Ms but after reading the roast chicken story, I'm re-evaluating...
I like that the exact nature of "fishskin" pads also appears to be a matter of dispute among the clarinet community.
"improved pads from fish bladders" TIL
It's fun but I wouldn't be rushing out of my way to play it (i.e. if you've got other stuff to play, I'd wait for a sale).
"Slither down mountains" is the best (and most accurate) description that I've ever read.
Great that you got around to it! It's a game that still really holds up, a miracle in this day and age.
You can definitely go there at level 1 although it is highly not recommended. Source: IIRC Many a True Nerd did a Level 1 playthrough of NW on Youtube.
8/10. While I'm disappointed with the route the game has decided to go down, I'm not disappointed with the game itself, so I've resisted the urge to dock points for the blatant moneygrab that it has become. I've gotten 100+ hours (some were even bug-free!) out of it, which is hardly a bad deal. Plus I got to run around the Fallout universe with friends and that's really all I wanted out of a MP Fallout game.
Orbital strike with their ships and Jaffa army? Doubt it. They couldn't even succeed against humans with their full squishiness on display, how will they succeed against humans in suits of armor?
I'd be more inclined to put money on a surreptitious takeover of the world. Ba'al and a couple of clones would be running the Strip before we even knew they were here.
^ I'd also add on that the U.S. is the international anomaly. Most countries understand 'tea' to mean the hot leaf drink.
I've never had carbonated iced tea (only the uncarbonated variants). I'd be down to try it, although I imagine it will boggle my mind and not in a positive way.
To actually answer the question, (hot) tea is the fuckin' bomb, that sweetened iced tea they serve in America is an abomination, and bubble tea is a gift from the gods.
In reality I drink most of my tea lukewarm because I promptly forget about it after making it and drinking maybe half a cup. It's not just a username, it's a way of life.
Oh shit I'm late for the tea discussion.
It was a fantastic conversation, idk what you're talking about xD
I'll second most of what's been said so far. It's a pretty fun game but won't blow your mind. Even without Wastelanders you'll get quite a few hours out of it and if Wastelanders is good then even better. I certainly don't regret the pre-order but the sale price is probably more commensurate with what you're getting, compared with some of the other AAAs out at the moment.
Also Nuclear Winter BR mode is fun as hell
AWOL Armaments is basically guaranteed 3 x 3-star legendaries (one at the end of each wave). Unfortunately it's not the most frequent event, but I always head over when I see it on the map.
Non-event but Watoga Emergency Services also has a semi-regular legendary spawn at the top. It's a quick run through if you happen to be in the area, plus you can pick up the Cop-a-Squatter daily while you're there.
Snallygaster spit explosion
You can get the Nuka-Cola coffee cup in FO76 as well. It definitely spawns in Lewis' room and iirc I've seen one in the Garrahan Mining HQ? Don't quote me on the latter though...Lewis' room is probably your best bet.
Umm, I know I usually batch in 50 (for real low priority stuff like bone & black titanium - depending on what level you are), 100 for things I'll probably need but not always (e.g. acid, adhesive - for me), 200 for springs/screws/ultracite and that sort of thing and then unlimited for lead. YMMV of course...
What do you mean by "cheap repair weapon. Only work for armor"? Weapon Artisan will repair your weapon to 200% the same way Fix It Good does for armor if that's the question?
Personally I think so. I guess I'm more curious what everything is being used for? Acid, I understand for smelting/gunpowder purposes (still, 300?); same goes for lead and steel and cloth. But what are you using 200 bone for while simultaneously only holding 60 ballistic fiber for armor repairs (although if you've got White Knight equipped OR a PA user, it should remove a lot of those repair woes)?
Large numbers of screws and springs for weapon/PA repairs, I suppose makes sense to an extent (the latter especially if you're a PA user). But if you've got Level 3 Weapon Artisan and Fix it Good to swap in when you do repairs, that's 200% condition on your equipment which halves how often you have to repair (further reduced if you are someone that uses Lucky of the Draw/Lucky Break).
As someone who is always struggling for steel (yeah idk either), I have some sympathy for that 😅. But yes, 500 of any junk item does seem very high.
What are you using that many screws for? I would've thought springs would be more of a priority than screws.
