Test

When I’m walking through the open wasteland I like to go in to Third Person and zoom all the way so I can see my dog, my follower, my character, and all our surroundings. Plus it looks really cool and cinematic especially if your radio is playing.

But as soon as I see enemies or combat starts, I don’t even draw my gun until I’m back in First Person. I don’t do combat any other way.

Do you guys think that a mod that removes 75 hostile NPCs including turrets from Boston would help?

I’ve heard some good things about insignificant object remover on PC but I also heard it has reverse effects on the Xbox console.

@Wytchfynder ive seen every ending and just about every dialogue sequence and I thought the main story was really good but the endings are ALL boring and lackluster to me. The only one that is even remotely interesting is the Institute ending and I’m totally not siding with them against the Brotherhood or Railroad.

so yeah I’m just trying to take advantage of all the available content, learn as much as I can about the factions and quests, and just try to enjoy it as much as I can at this point. Now I just need to figure out what is causing the game to crash haha.

Thing i just mentioned about nuking the whole map in the ending was reused at the end of Lonesome Road but the areas you can nuke are surrounding New Vegas not directly on the map like it would have been in Van Buren.

@Dr.O1217 oh yeah in my opinion at least. I love the plague part of the story. Your character is the Patient Zero and throughout the first half of the game you’re unknowingly spreading the virus to every single SPECIFIC CHARACTER that you speak too. On the second half of the game when you go through those areas again they would be completely disease ridden and any character you specifically came in contact with would be dead or dying, men, women, or children. Also the giant robot that is constantly chasing you gives the player a great reason to be constantly drifting.

And how about the ending where the game lets you decided to nuke any specific city that you want, or nuke the whole map, or shut down the nukes. It’s almost cliche but I think thats a great way to end a Fallout game.

I just realized Im talking as if I played it. But thats not the case. We probably all know it was never finished enough to be in a playable state. Sadly.

@Knife Maker I’m not going to lie if I knew what I was doing and could afford the best PC I would be all over it and every game I played would be from Steam.

But everything else a computer is used for, I can do on my cell phone. A bit of a tangent here, but the only game I wish I could play but can’t because I’m on console is Spore.

Van Buren would have had the best story out of all the Fallouts.

@The Appalachian Before I knew how to work the load order I had issues. Then I was able to play for a long time without crashes after figuring it out.

Now that I’m returning after a long while it seems to only crash after recently installing a new mod or CC item or if I’m in Downtown Boston.

I’ll probably just try and trudge my way through the SWAN boss fight and through Trinity Tower before the crashing becomes constant and I’ll never able to leave or return. Lol.

Ive beaten the game with lots of mods installed before and the Downtown Boston area never gave me a noticeable amount of trouble compared to other areas until now.

@Knife Maker 500$ from where? Way to dismiss my entire issue. I can play any game I ever wanted to play in my life on this very console. What purpose would I get a PC for? JUST to play Fallout 4 with mods?

If I dropped 500$ on one single gaming purchase I would just buy a newer Xbox (that will ALWAYS last longer than any computer I might add) and I would still have money left over.

@The Bansheee I can agree with that.

Yes it was technically world war 3 but there was no victor so it’s not really similar at all to the first World Wars plus theres no one around to discuss these sort of things so the Great war that we know in Fallout is probably the only “great war” most wastelanders have even heard of.

I personally don’t think Fallout 4 is better than Fallout 3.

New Vegas is most favored by those who have played it but Fallout 4 is alright.
