Remind me Autumn, who wrote your CSS, templates and gave the files appropriate names?
It's all good saying look at the Outer Worlds wiki, but when you look at what you did, it was editor level stuff. Most of the admin work was done by myself and your statement sounds like an attempt to take claim for work I did.
One set of ToU, which everyone should have read before registering. Although it isn't explict in the terms they do state:
Post or transmit any communication or solicitation designed or intended to obtain password, account, or private information from any FANDOM user;
If you are writing messages saying this is my account, add me, technically that is designed to obtain someone else's username, as the end goal is to to have that contact info elsewhere.
It is very much open to interpretation, but I've always gone with a rule of thumb of if you offer it in conversation, but don't ask for others then thats fine, but if you make a thread asking people to add you then it is closer to solicitation.
Normally, I'd entertain this Husky, but I'm in the mood for real debate on the subject ;)
I was on about FOBOS, but thinking on it, there has actually been 8 games released, not counting Shelter.
Actually, 3 of 7. There is the game we don't talk about too (that came out for the PS2)
The one thing I have noticed with the app is most of these articles are actually not Fandom's at all. It seems like they choose the juiciest clickbait they can find to get people to come take a look.
Also the apps notifications are comparatively louder than then rest of the notifications on my phone.
Excellent. I want a double double to wash them down with and a poutine for later on.
As for outer world's, it looks like a good game and worth investing some time and money itln. My biggest gripe is they're selling it too hard on Fallout, like it is all they have ever really offered the games industry. It isn't a good look imo
Everyone remembers you VTS, everyone. Now pay up your timbits tab.
Technical updates happen all the time, they don't usually impact something like this.
First post 24/01/16 sound about right to you? Skimmed through and didn't see anything too amiss, when there was blocks of deletions, it was part of a post that had been trimmed out at the time (I.e. not just yours) so I'm not seeing anything out of place.
I suspect they removed undeleted posts from deleted threads from the count. I know they used to be counted as posts.
From a Fandom scrub? Maybe. Might be worth having a skim back to the start and seeing if pre-2017 was scrubbed or something.
Well, I just had a skim through and unless someone went right the way back to early 2016/17 and found one deleted post.
Fandom has been doing a lot of work in the background, so I can only assume it's that, unless someone asked a moderator to delete an old thread for some reason, (but that wouldn't account for how many were lost).
Finally hit 10k huh hau
It would be easiest to look at this from a jurisdiction standpoint:
Chat moderators: Moderate Discord
Content Moderators: Moderate the wiki. They have power to lock and delete articles.
Discussions moderators: Moderate Discussions
Admin: have the responsibilities of all of the above, bit have additional tools related to the wiki too.
That is down to Fandom's terms of service, don't ask for other people's personal info or give out personal info.
It's out of our control.
I have a question, as I wasn't asked, why did we bring AMA back as it was decided to revive it because it got buried pretty quickly and we get maybe 2 questions every other day and most of them seem to be editing questions?
I just don't get the logic.
Caboose: please edit your replies in future. I've deleted all but the most relevant one
Looks like we have the start of a meme page here, with OP trying to avoid getting locked. I'm locking this.
I said this before a few weeks ago, but I think it needs to be repeated: If you don't like the type quality of topics here, start your own. The reason this place thrives during the off peak is because we are lax with the rules on topics and quality. Anything really basic does get removed but for the most part we do nothing.
